We previously had a 21 foot van, so we knew we did not want to go much larger than that. We also knew we would be adding the bike rack and external storage and would have to do that on either van which would create additional length. So in the end we knew the Terreno would be the perfect size, and we would be able to have the right amount of storage with the Owl boxes without have the 2 extra feet to worry about on the van when parking in certain places.
