I bought a Cadillac CTS 10 years ago when we moved to florida. I said "I'll keep this car for 10 years" we laughed, not meaning it. Here we are 10 years later, and I still love it. I have not had any problems with it. Thinking I might need to upgrade and I thought maybe something different, but this Escala is beautiful. I might have to stay with cadillac. P.S. I've had Mercedes before but still in love with my Cadillac.
I agree and would be interested in maybe buying one if they ever make it available for sale to the public but it doesn’t sound like that is going to happen 🙁🙁🙁
It breaks my heart to know that Cadillac decided to build the Celestiq instead of this beauty. Don't get me wrong, the Celestiq is ok... but this just looks so much better.
Achei o mesmo luxo por fora e minimalista por dentro, 2024 melhora e lançaremos suw cupê e mais CEDANs e esportivos, só tem um SUW a marca o Cadillac scalad.
OMG you sure caught my eye! Go Cadillac! This car is the bomb! Im an audi man but could so go with this car. Great job designers! I grew up with Cadillac's living in detroit the 60's 70's, you were someone if you had a Cadillac.
This car is cool enough to qualify as Batman’s car. If there was ever such a thing as a ‘bat car ‘ design, most Cadillac cars would qualify. They just have that peculiar look about them.
Glad to see Cadillac's stepping it up lately, year over year it seems. Not sure what's taken place at GM the past decade, but they've been making some nice looking Caddis.
Cadillac has a long history of creating fantastic prototypes and never making them. "HEY LOOK AT WHAT WE CAN DO!"... "Sike, you and I both know we'll never make it!"
The Escala never did reach production, GM's global transition to EVs forcing yet another program pivot, with Cadillac earmarked as “the tip of the spear.” Instead, the Escala program would morph into the Cadillac Celestiq
Wish more European made, not just designed cars, were available in North America. The North American junk is still junk. My mother has a German made Tiguan and it is notably higher quality than it’s non-German made counterpart. I can tell every time I clean it. The attention to quality even on an affordable basic car is obvious. Just got lucky as it was the last on the lot, probably because it it was the turbo and sucks a lot of gas.
@@dubasciver3234 I agree German technology /workmanship /reliability is absolutely the best noooobody comes even close. Of course the Germans did start 2 world wars and lost both of them , I think i will stick to the old dependable pick em up. Thanky kindly
Exactly! they have been showing this for last 5 years and no info. either on the site or at dealerships on launch date, price etc. I was so keen to buy it but going for the S-Class instead. This is wjhy American auto has lagged behind, they just sit on things for eternity with no updates.
I've always said if it ain't a Cadillac I won't drive it. This car looks out of this world. I have owned 12 Cadillacs in my lifetime. By far this is the one I just cannot take my eyes off. Jason/Presto, PA.
The car that Cadillac should have put into production; not the hatchback high tech show car Celestiq. Instead an open space in Cadillac's lineup that should have been filled!...This car is simply magnificent in every detail!
And the economic climate may kill it. Cars are stacking up at the dealers. Banks are tightening up. The middle class is wrung dry and just trying to keep a roof over their head. They simply can't afford an 80k or up new car. Maybe the rich will adopt this car over their Benz/BMW/etc fetish. And yeah, I'd drive it.

@@SteelBuckeye The 19 Impala Premier I bought was hella reliable until I totalled it 😄. I did my research and most of there line up is dog shit but the Impala's are A smart buy imo wasnt bad on gas either they shaved 300lbs on the newer models before sadly discontinuing. The suspension on the premier was beautiful 🤌🏿
The new cadillacs are beautiful. This one is outstanding. I don't understand the comments about it never going into production 😢 what are they thinking
Of course it's an EV. Look how they just chucked all those cheap materials in there and called it sustainable just to charge you a premium price for them. That's very EV
