Best review I've seen on the 2025 Kia Carnival Hybrid. Really it takes two or three videos to cover everything on more detail. Just the safety and driving features could be one video.
This is the ultimate entertainment car in Korea so it's quite a famous car on TV since you can spot almost every idol in it :D (I'm quite disappointed our Mari didn't sing 신해철's 그대에게 or AESPA's Supernova :D )
Hi im from Malaysia. Kia Malaysia should bring this facelifted Kia Carnival. It looks so nice! 🔥🔥🔥Btw currently im driving a 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe CRDi here in Malaysia. Love Hyundai and Kia cars. ❤
I can appreciate the honest review. I don't understand the comment that a mini van is a place you would just throw stuff but a SUV would not be. Also Carnival is called an MPV not a mini van. It is in the middle. Plus you just put your phone in the spot in the Kia just fine. How many cup holders are you looking for? There are two cup holders in the rear middle console and on some models would have the option of a middle console/seat in the middle. You would be mad at your daughter if you were in highway traffic and did not have hands at 10 and 2. ;) Now if Kia can send the USA some hybrid in LXS that would be appreciated.
I like the Carnival. As far as having lots of 'idle' space for stuff though, I must say, my Grand Caravan wins hands down. It has two glove boxes, a super console between the two seats with a bin, the two side by side cup holders, and another bin, with each bin having a roller type cover to hide the contents if necessary. The space underneath is open and large enough for my wife to put her good sized purse in. it has another cubbie under the climate control, and a full sized drawer with additional cup holders that slides out rearwards into the 2nd row and it can hold a useful amount of stuff. The van also has small overhead storage bins and large storage bins in the floor in front of the 2nd row seats. So, lots of idle storage, without even talking about the 3rd row or the way back. So, long story short, Kia could have matched or exceeded the storage that an old school 8 year van has if they'd wanted to. I'd buy the Carnival, but I'd chose the V6, an engine that's reliable, smooth, confidence inspiring.
I rent this car of 2024 keyless diesel model for traveling in Aus and NZ(N & S island)for a total 2000km in 2 weeks. This is a spacious MPV that can take 5 passengers plus 5 28in-luggage, but I think there are 2 quality improvements required. 1 its Steering is too loose or not rigid that road conditions as something unbiased and cornering could bring the steering wheel slightly moving. 2 When leaving the car by locking the doors with remove control press, there is no smart design as automatic window shutting. I have to start the engine again and shut the windows manually.
Hi Mari! I just got my BBL! It cost me $7k and I really want to protect my investment whilst also keeping my kids safe! Will this minivan cradle my booty properly and comfortably? Thank you!!!!
I would like to see the carnival with all the seats removed. We use our existing minivan as an overnight sleeper. 2 people, remove all the seats and through a 2 person pad with sleeping bags in it. Is it flat, etc.
From 2022+ Kia Carnival General Discussion Forum : I just got the 2023 SX Prestige but there has been some rattling noise when I driver on the bumpy road/ uneven surfaced road. I have this also. Same (perceived) location. Can't really pinpoint location. May be in driver's door as it sometimes goes away if I open and close the door at a stop. I just got a new Kia carnival 2024 sx and am hearing the same rattling near the front side/seat belt column area on both drivers and passengers door. Yep. Same issue with me. It seems to only make the noise on the highway. But it is totally random. I’m having the same issue with my 2024 SX prestige. The noise seems to be from driver/sliding door on driver side. I have the 2024 Kia Carnival and I hear rattling noise when I drive over uneven roads/pavement coming from the rear of the vehicle. Got our 2023 SX Prestige last week and from the first mile itself, I could hear some clunking noise from the back when I go over bad patches of road/speed bumps. did anyone had same problem as mine... squeaking / creaking sound from dashboard when drive on uneven / bumpy road... Yes! Got our car on Oct 22, 2022. It’s an ex 2023. Today 10/27/2022 I started to notice. Creaking noise when I stop and go and on some slightly bumpy roads…. I don’t like it I have a kia carnival sx prestige, I have the creaking sound just whenever it wants to make the noise, I have replaced the struts and mounts, leftside lower control arm and the brakes and still the same sound, took it to kia and they charged me for 2 hours of trying to figure it out, 465.00 . I had someone tell me it sounds like 2 pieces of plastic scraping rubbing together and the noise sounds like under the driver's seat to him. I about to trade it for a dodge. I have a noise at random times on the highway. Sounds like it is coming from the lower part of the driver side door. Anyone find a fix for this, my 22 EX+ model is doing this, seems like plastic trim behind the dual screens in the noise source.
Minivans are my favorite, and I have to say Kia has really impressed me with their hybrid, PHEV and EV models! The hybrid carnival was just released here in the USA and it gets around 34 MPG, which is super! Anyhow, thanks for the review!
Hello Mari , nice to see you back . As far as vans go they are both very nice for a family , I know what you mean by the steering wheel cutting the dash screen in half , in my GV 60 I like to sit low with the wheel lower I find the signal lights are blocked from view I would like to see them move to the bottom of the screen. One thing I really like is the drawer in the rear of the console . great review as always and welcome back , are we spotting extra rings on your left hand :)
Nice! Will the Carnival Hybrid be available in the US? Can the backseats be removed? 4:26 Correct me if I'm wrong, but the stow'n'go for 2nd row seats is only for the non-hybrid Pacifica, right? Wish it was available on the hybrid version too! 5:05 can you run AC while engine is off?
I really enjoyed your presentation and comparisons of the two vehicles but I do have a few questions about them. How does it turn corners does the car swerve or seem to not grip the pavement when turning? You talked about the position of the screen and the steering wheel but you didn't mention anything about adjusting the steering wheel height or column distance from you to the steering wheel is there such an adjustment in the two vans? I definitely like the Staria a bit better in terms of feelng more openness because just even looking at the carnival on screen it looks claustrophobic to me and I'm not a tall person and I think I would go nuts sitting in that backseat for very long. I just had trouble understanding this break thing you mentioned about changing breaking that was confusing and I don't get it and where was this filmed? I was so curious watching it. Thank you.
As far as I know, 9 seats version is only available in Korea. 9 seats version is aimed at passing fast lane in highway of Korea. Because above 8 seats means that you can drive on fast lane.
mari it was delightful having you on radio clock tonight! we enjoyed learning about your life and your occupation! it was i who asked you be invited again for car related things. hope to see you again!
it's quite cool that there's a 9-seater version. I wonder if it's same overall size as the 7-seater that's sold in the US or it's a longer one. Be awesome if they can offer that in the US.
@@ClonewarswarsClone yeah, but the Carnival blows all other minivans out of the water as far as features, driving experience goes. The only thing they best the Carnival in is mileage per gallon. I’m getting the 2025 Carnival and am first on the list to order this beauty. So excited!😊
