It should follow the piston engine principles, the blast in the cylinder causes piston to go down very fast. This magnet engine will not produce torque because the magnetic field is limited to a certain area and we will loose power.
If it does work, the manufacturers of magswitches could have done it a long time ago, but this will never work since the force required to get off attraction= force required to enter repulsion.
That's right, a magnet is not a source of energy like gasoline or flammable gas. It simply has this property that is amazing to our eyes, but we cannot turn the property into energy. These are different areas.

It's an interesting idea but it's missing a few elements of how magswitch technology actually functions. There's two inductor cores/bars on either side of the magnets which create flux loop paths for the magnets to effectively cancel. Also magswitch doesn't create a monopolar magnetic field, it's actually a bipolar flux loop which is made complete by the load material the magswitch is meant to lift.

Si esta muy bien pensado pero hay un inconveniente alli.. los grandes imanes que configuran los pistones subiendo y bajando de ninguna manera podrian estar tan cerca entre si por que tambien alli existen fuerzas de repulsion o de atraccion segun sean montados, por lo que ese problema podria anular el prollecto, salvo que estos esten mas separados
Se me ocurre que si cada camisa cilindro es de material ferromagmetico que contiene a cada piston iman podria blindarse el campo magnetico de cada piston de los restantes en su cercania?

تستطيع ان تجعلة يدور ويتوقف ويتسارع . ضع المغناطيس في حالة حركة لفوق ولتحت كلما ابتعد عن القلب قلت الحركة كلما اقترب زادت الحركة . عمود نقل التزامن من نوع الذي يكبر ويصغر ستقول المغناطيس سيجعل الارتفاع او نزول صلب يلزمه ضغط قوي كي تزيد او تنقص في السرعة . الحل في التزامن عند نزول وعند صعود . عكس اذا اردت رفع السرعة ستستغل الصعود لينزل المغناطيس الى المستوى المطلوب .

Not gonna work. Look I’m a CNC machinist so I know those magnetic bases with mechanical ON-OFF switches. And yes I’ve noticed it takes more force to operate a switch when the base is installed on a ferromagnetic surface compared in the midst of air. Yes, you have to put energy in order to create magnetic field. It’s not like a magic stick to wave and get energy out of nowhere.
