The shocks are the emulsion style shocks now instead of the bladder shocks they had before. It’s the same ones that M2C Racing sells and it has a bleeder screw on the caps.

Hello! for bash body pins are the best, where you jump there in the middle the terrain is not straight and it's normal to roll like that, it's not the car's fault, Merry Christmas!

Looks like a fun RC. Appears to have adjustable links that would change the toe? You mentioned the wheels especially in the rear appeared towed in and how the turning radius is wide. If they could be trued or toed out that would help it turn tighter. Same with the front perhaps. However it might become more squirrelly at high speed. Just a thought. Thanks for taking your new RC out on a rip.

Got half way through your video then had to go bash my V5 Kraton😁. Yes, the shock stand offs dimple the body early on etc.. but I'm suprised by how much life i've gotten out of the body honestly.. The plastic bulkheads are alright but I'm envious of those aluminum ones. I'm betting Arrma got the diff shimming pretty close out of the box and you're not going to have to worry about those diffs any time soon👌. My main complaint was with the dive shafts popping out during certain front impact/suspension bottom out situations. Very aggravating, especially as it screws up the outdrive cups also. A lot of times I think that's maintenance though, letting the pillow balls get too loose, sloppy, blown bearings, play or cracks in the upper a-arms etc.... The RPM front arms are superb for keeping the front end tolerances tight.

It looks similar to the Talion exb body which is also a bit on the thin side. Definitely a large number of Proline bodies for it. I agree, the BigRock is very loud. Much louder than the Mojave which I just bought and also came with the new system. I thought the Talion was loud but the BigRock takes the cake in terms of waking the neighbors.

Less then 1.5 hours of running. Bolt fell out of the steering. Fixed that another half hour and that new servo gave out.

It seems that this has the same characteristics as the HyperGo H14BM (aka 14210). It is very powerful and likes to tip over a lot. Needs a wheelie bar for sure too.

Stavo per dirti che avevo un video sugli 6, sono veloci e divertenti e non grandi come l'Xmaxx o l'8 Kraton. Ho la 8s Outcast, è un'ottima macchina ma molto pesante. Posso aggiungere i sottotitoli in italiano se vuoi per tutti i video futuri. Non sono sicuro che ci sia qualcosa che salta fuori. Cerco di assicurarmi che l'inglese sia corretto, quindi uso la traduzione automatica per migliorarlo, ho usato Google per tradurre questo quindi spero che abbia senso, grazie per la visione Spero che ne guarderai altri Ho una buona selezione di auto e altro ancora in arrivo

They are both great rc's I would say the Sledge does better at high speed turns and flat out across the grass. The Kraton tends to bounce a bit and roll easily in turns. Now for jumps the Sledge has great air control and it can jump but I feel thats the advantage to the Kraton it jumps very easily very little power and its flying. I really like the way the Kraton jumps but ground control its a little wild kind of like an Outcast the Sledge powers trough all kinds of terrain like an Xmaxx high speed and cornering and jumps good not as far as the Kraton.

Im getting a new RC in next month. Im so torn between 6S EXB or the 8S variant...I only buy 1 RC a year, so im torn here. I do upgrades during the year (Slowly / Expensive). Help me out folks:

Personally I really like the 6s it is easier to transport and store and its cheaper to buy the car and batteries. The performance is amazing out of it if you like jumping the 6s is the way to go in my opinion. The 8s is very cool I do enjoy mine they take a lot of room to store and at around 40 pounds they are heavy. I have not broken anything so far on the 6s I do keep getting slight bends in the drive shafts on the 8s Kraton and Outcast. The 8s is more money for the car and batteries. They do jump well but to me not as far as the 6s now for flat out speed bashing across the ground the 8s uses its weight to its advantage there it can rip across a field where the 6s is a little light but you can tune that with some shock adjustments. Hope that helps for me personally if I could only have one I really enjoy the 6s for the speed, durability and ease to carry it around

@@L2theWcarscoffeelife Do you reckon that's part of the problem some have with the arms 🤔, As it's not something ppl always think about especially straight out the box, also it baffles me that ppl have stopped putting a drop of blue threadlock on wheel threads, I know serated nuts don't come loose as easy but still see videos where they come off and a drop of threadlock with serrated nuts makes it near impossible. Most would probably say it's overkill. 😂

the droop screws save the shocks the design is to prevent the shock from supporting the arm when its in the air then when you land the top of the shock has play and it stresses the top. Bad landings and cold weather will break stuff and so will pushing the vehicles past their limits yeah it might survive a 30 f high jump a few times but when the shocks bottom out and you slap the chassis its too much changing shock oil only does so much they need to change springs too I have never lost a nut the plastic compresses a little when its new just snug it up part way and after the first run you should be good a little threadlocker never hurts I always have a hard time getting mine loose as it is lol @@richardhutchinson9646

@@L2theWcarscoffeelife Yeah I know the energy is supposed to distribute through the entire car, starting from tires, to arms to suspension, chassis, so on, if the arm is too loose then it takes to much of the impact before it can transfer the force to the shock creating more of a reverberation between the two than there should be, eventually something is going to give and that something is the arm most like the at a joint area as they're far weaker than the shocks or tower. If not the arm the shaft as that's the next weakest point. Or atleast that's my understanding not sure if I'm entirely right 🤔

@@L2theWcarscoffeelife as for jumping way up, if they break something that's their own dumb fault it's way to much force if you wanna jump a bit higher or longer just accelerate right at end of ramp but don't hit them full speed like kev Talbot and the like. Then say the cats are trash for breaking like no you're an idiot 😂 Well not right at end sorry as you hit it but you probably got what I meant.

This will outjump the Kagama and to me the Kraton is easier to control the Kagama is very sensitive to the trigger. The Kraton does have telemetry info on my dx5 so that is nice. Its tough they are both really nice rc's I feel like the Kagama might be stronger overall and its definitely faster.

@@L2theWcarscoffeelife yeah I have it on spectrum electronics and it’s still a maniac 😂 but yeah I do give it to the Kraton in just being easier to control and on a 15 tooth it’s just as fun as the kagama maybe even better not to impressed with the 13 stock 15 does it for me punch 9 lol and I wonder why I’m always breaking stuff also I saw your review on the max slash I have the Mojave 4s and I’m glad I will never go with Traxxas my Mojave 4s is so much fun

its a shame I never had a problem with my Traxxas cars I do wish the esc could be turned up and the servo voltage like most companies they have been solid cars until now they rushed this half baked rc to the world that was not ready and when you try to give feedback they say you cant drive. If you can run the Kagama the mutt slash is a cake walk! I have the 4s Kraton and I love the little rc its damn fast and tough I was surprised by it @@TMIVRC

No problem just checking the factory settings on the esc with the programmer there was a glitch with these but the software update was installed before it was shipped so I was verifing that.

@@L2theWcarscoffeelife leave it up to Arrma to build such a bad-ass machine but cheap out on a few of what they consider “little” things, but to us the guys that work hard and buy their products, those little things add up and ALWAYS cost money 💰 to upgrade, modify, or replace. They need to wake up on a few things and give us what we deserve… a “complete” rig!!

They did great with the Big Rock so far the body is doing good. My new 8S Outcast and this have the same dent in the hood from the shock tower like you said its a common problem these are my first off road Arrmas its disappointing to see a new body damaged like that they need to fix the problem either more support in that area or redesign the tower for more clearance. I have the same gripe with the Xmaxx the back end folds up there is no support back there I just call as I see it no favorites that way someone like me that doesnt have experience with it can make a decision
