I like the fact it is a one person operation and you dont need a lazy helper that dont show up for work. And no fumes like on the petrol models.

Used one of these to drive T-posts for a 5 acre pasture. At 70 years old it took me 2 days and I survived. This thing breaks though some rocks and moves others. The gas powered ones do not hit as hard and can be stopped by stuff this one blasts through. I put the posts, generator and compressor on a small trailer with a garden tractor moving the system around the area. Made an adapter for 1-1/4" pipe and drive a well point down 18'.

@@1_402 My soil is rocky, with lots of gravel and sand. There are layers of clay and what I believe to be limestone. I used a fairly small compressor (Harbor Freight, 8 gal, 1.5 hp). Slow and steady. Unfortunately I loaned my unit to someone and forgot who and it never came back. Guess I'll need a new one, LOL.

I used on at my old job it works great with one draw back. The bolt you screw down on the pipe strips out easily on the one we used. I drilled it out and put a bigger bolted on it. Then had no problems.

Weld a piece of sharpened 3/16 or 1/4 inch plate to a piece of round stock then to a piece of post and you have a root cutter.

I enjoyed the power that the man saver brought to the table, but it ended up chaffing my foreskin very badly. Even after using up all my lube. Please try to make a version where the inside and edges are far less rough. Thank you.

I mean from an equipment/technology standpoint these powered post drivers are cool. But it's also kind of funny the extent people will go to avoid intensive physical labor. Just hit the gym and build up them muscles and cardio and then get a 40 pound cast iron driver and smash em in there. Way faster too. Great for the elderly and disabled though.

ok, i have the worlds worst clay. can take 10 mins to go 1 inch with a digging bar some days. Getting ready to drop 100 T-posts and 30 2 7/8 posts. worse case scenario, how long to drive these drill stems 36 inches? if it wont drive them can i have my money back?

Can this be adapted to drive 1-1/4" well rod? If it can does the pipe need a cap to prevent thread damage?

Although there are other post drivers that are similar our post drivers are the only multi-directional pneumatic post drivers. We've been making them since 1997, so we've been around a long time.

This pounder was the biggest waste of 1000 dollars I ever spent. The shitty return policy stung mote than the waste of time trying to use it. We upgraded to a rhino pd 55 and never looked back

Most rocks aren't a problem, but super large rocks may need to be dug out. This would be the same thing whether using our post driver, a manual driver or another brand of automatic driver.

Yes that is ok for you yanks here we drive 9 inch diameter posts and bigger we do not call that 2 inch diameter post a post we call that a twig not a post. which leaves me to think you Yanks are weak
