I like how you put look 1 together with a horizontal gradient style, working the shimmer into the inner eye fold away from the bulk of the matte! It shows more of a silvery taupe on the monitor rather than the pink on my end as well 😢 I also ordered this palette and had such a hard time working with the mattes especially.. I feel like the Adept formula isn’t as vivid as the shades from BBB, BlendBunny & Unearthly. I’m glad you didn’t have any issues with the mattes! Do you think the matte formula is different from these other indie brands? I’ve honestly never had this level of difficulty blending and building with other brands 😫 I will say it again, thank you sooooo much for your honesty! The Adept shimmer formula is so special but it does tend to crease on hooded eyes & I will be very cautious when I use those shades in case of any irritation, too ‼️

Thank you so much! Adepts mattes are a more buildable matte and I feel like it’s best to build up to the color you want first and then blend. Using your setting powder works to help blend because including a lighter matte in this palette would’ve helped also. And my goal is always for you to know how a formula is and works. I can’t be angry at adept for having more of a creamy formula but I will share my experience! 🥰💜

Both eye looks were very pretty! Thank you for the update on how it wore.I use NYX glitter glue and have hooded eyes so not sure these shadows would work for me. I have most of Adept eye shadow palettes and never had any problem with the performance. Bummer that it irritated your eye lids though.

Yea I usually don’t because there’s usually no problem. But it’s an expensive palette and if it’s not wearing well I’m going to say it. A few of the shades in other palettes do this to me too. Just not this much. And it has never irritated my eye ever. It was a bummer when this one shade did.

Do you think the sparkles fall out? I really want this collection. Sparkles drive my allergies krazy. Do you think its not going to be so bad

I only had minor fall out issues with the shade glam. But fallout was very minimal even though I did have separation. As long as you use glitter primer or glue you will love this. It’s also glitter free according to their website.

@@NicciA1982 I have hooded eye lids and when they rub together it causes a bit of separation with the shade glam I explain it and show it in the end of the video. 😊🤍
