Anderson Manufacturing is known for their AR rifles but now they are offering their first handgun. The Kiger 9C is a Polymer Frame Striker Fired pistol that is compatible with Glock Gen 3 parts and takes Glock magazines, but has a lot of upgrades to the slide and frame. Anderson Manufacturing has done well in my opinion. A Glock 3 compatible model that can use all Glock 3 upgrades and has a better grip angle and treatment to the DLC stainless steel slide and barrel. A little more space with memory pad that makes slide stop release easier to activate. Crowned barrel and has a TAC rail and slide serrations front and rear. Kiger 9C is a great entry in the firearm industry.

The Kiger 9C / SCT 19 frame grip angle is the same as the OEM Glock G19 and Compact Dagger frame grip angle.

@@MF-Rell Grip angle isn't a function of backstraps, palm swell, ... Grip angle is measured from where the bore axis intersects the centerline of the magazine well. Despite the fact the Kiger 9C / SCT 19 frame, OEM Glock G19 frame, and Compact Dagger frame all share the same grip angle (21° - 22°), they each handle as if they have a different grip angle. We could refer to this as the "effective grip angle". I have all three sitting right alongside a Polymer80 frame and a Combat Armory frame. Of all the 50 doll hair aftermarket frames, the Combat Armory frame is my favorite. It's like a gen3-based G19 gen5 frame. Unlike the other frames, it's compatible with magwells and grip plugs intended for an OEM Glock G19 gen3 frame.

The frame is not made by Anderson. It is made by St Croix Tactical out of Wisconsin. It seems that SCT has a deal with Anderson to put their logo in it. The frames are available (as of now) for around $50 with a locking block.

@@Barnes-ml9wg A Anderson stripped Mil-Spec 7075-T6 lower with a SOLGW Blaster LPK and a ALG QMS trigger is top of the line and just as good, if not better than a stock Colt, BCM, Daniel Defense. That same "junk" poverty pony lower has a Criterion or FNH CHF barrel and a Toolcraft 158C Mil-Spec M16 bolt carrier group, B5 Systems SOPMOD stock/ Type-23 pistol grip.....etc etc Reminds me of that scene in The Fast & The Furious when that yuppie says "Ferrari...rev...rev... zoom!" Vin Diesel tells Paul Walker "smoke him" in the heavily modified Toyota Supra. How much you paid for it never replaces technical know how and the money spent very wisely.

I'm buying two of these. My wife carries a .38 snubnose and has never shot a semi auto pistol like this. She Is crazy accurate with a weapon that I am unable to shoot well at all. The second is for me, as I have never carried a small pistol. Always a full size 92fs, or a 1911, and lately a PX4 storm.

Anderson looks like they've done a good job! One of the things that I always hated about the Glocks was the bulkiness of the polymer frame, especially the thickness of the trigger guard. It may just be me and the size of my hand or something, but when I shot a Glock the inside corner of my trigger finger fingernail dragged on the texture of the trigger guard and gave me a kind of fingernails-on-a-blackboard sensation. Pretty much all early generation polymer handguns of ANY make had these same characteristics. I've noticed, however, in recent years many pistols are appearing with polymer frames that are infused with some sort of hardening or reinforcing materials, which allow the frames to be constructed to be approaching the thinness and strength of steel or aluminum and are still sufficiently strong. (First handgun I owned that was provided with such a polymer frame was a Taurus .22LR pocket pistol - the one with the tilt-up barrel.) Now, if they would just get rid of that hideous trigger-dongle banana thing and use a real manual safety I might consider buying one.

Very nice, I'm glad these Glock clones are entering the market and really giving Glock a run for their money. This will drive innovation. Personally, I think the Dagger has them beat in both the price, quality, and features, but again I think there needs to be more competition and options in the market to keep these company's quality up.

To think that they will have just this model at this price would be stupid to assume. That is the biggest misconception or even deception to call the trigger safety anything but drop inertia safety. Anything that can pull on your trigger is also going to depress the safety blade. There’s an extremely rare occurrence that it would pull only on the side of the trigger and not the safety blade. All it does is to prevent the trigger being pulled by inertia in case of a drop or immediate stop (in a car crash).

Love the pistol design/upgrades. I would buy this over a Glock 19 Gen 3 today. Great that the parts are Gen 3 Glock 19 and magazine compatible.. Unfortunately , I do own a Gen 3 Glock 19. Trigger seems to be a bit heavy on this model. I would have thought they would have addressed this at 11:38 of the video : over 5 pound trigger pull.

I'm happy with my Glock 17M. I'm not a 9mm guy but it is a great match to my AR 15 that I converted to a AR 9. They take the same mags. I reload so the 9mm is cheaper to shoot then 22lr. 9mm is a great plinking round and the ammunition is everywhere. The PCC is a fun novelty to have but that's just it a novelty to me. I'm not bashing the 9mm lovers. It's fun to shoot. I prefer my S&W 39. It's a nice piece of history. If the clone is reasonably priced I would consider it but I have 5 9mm's. Unless it's a Luger or P-38 it would have to be something special. Happy Safe Shooting 🇺🇸💪.

There's a reason so many companies are making Glock clones, and that is because the Glock gen 3 license has expired. You can't find a Glock gen 3 anywhere and people still want that model, so other companies are filling the gap.

I'm a dealer for Anderson they make 2 models of the Kiger, standard Kiger 9c and the Kiger 9c pro. 9c pro comes with nice cut slide and Advanced features the standard 9c is the one in his video, you can buy just the assembled frame in both 9c and 9c pro you can also buy the slides. and Glock 19 Gen3 part with fit on either model

Beware. I bought one about a month ago from Kentucky Gun Company. Had a problem right out of the box, slide would not go on normally, you had to pull down on the slide lock. Then couldn't get slide off. That was first return. They said a part was out of spec. Then first trigger malfunction, delayed striker release after pulling trigger all the way to it's end of travel without a clean break. Which is obviously very dangerous. They confirmed the malfunction and replaced fiire control unit. It took fifty rounds before it started happening again, showed it to the range master and he instructed me to stop shooting it immediately, which was unnecessary because I had already decided on my own.

Appears to be a great gun, but seems everyone makes a great striker fired polymer handgun these days. I won't be running out to get one of these though. For that same money I can have a Canik with more options to choose from, match grade barrel and awesome trigger right out of the box. Also to close to a Glock price point, for a bit more I could just get a Glock Gen 5. And for much less I can have a Tisas PX9 Duty or Tactical version. I'd agree, it's a beautiful gun, I like it but nawww, the price point kills it for me and only 1 knock off mag??? Even Tisas comes with 2 mags and a nice polymer lockable case for $150-$200 less, Glock Gen 5 and Taurus G3c comes with 3 real OEM mags. Knock $100 off the price point and put it right there between the Canik TP9 and the Tisas PX9 and further from a Glock, Springfield or Smith M&P then I'd be on board and run out and get one. Like Aholes, that's JMO and I'm sure many will disagree.

The GST-9 frame goes for 49.99. Is what you're getting for the rest of the money worth it? A Dagger is hard to beat, especially for the money.

Another GREAT INFORMATIVE VIDEO. I've got a AR9 that takes Glock mags so it would be nice to have a pistol that also uses them. I need to check it out because I'm not wild about a BASIC GLOCK for several reasons so it makes me want to REALLY CHECK IT OUT.🤔😯🤗👍

Im looking for a .45 Caliber pistol in a compact size. My dad really wants one. The M&P shield 45 is hard to come by. We have too many 9mm pistols on the market. . Any suggestions?

You can get a nice Glock 30S used, for about $400, or a little more. It's not thick like the original Glock 30, it's not a heavy brick either. 9 (or 10) rounds of 45 in a very compact frame.

PSA Dagger vs Anderson Kiger? I love the PSA, mine is optic cut and threaded barrel from the factory $359 plus tax and FFL. But I hope Anderson sells a ton of these and does them in different colors.

The days of Glock are changing fast. New metals, new technology etc. and you have manufacturers making a better mouse trap and doing it for less. Glock is asleep at the wheel. And not only that, the nonsense of dictating how low a Dealership can sell their guns for in order to keep up their appearance is disgusting. Bravo to all these manufactures for building a better gun and giving more value to the dollar. By the way, you can also pick up a complete lower for less than $100.00
