That's really cool. I've been writing short stories to posting them on reddit. That's my way to build up a following. I'm revising my novel, building up a follow and polishing my writing.

I am seventy years old and I have written my first book It is my autobiography. I am so out of my comfort zone. Please, do I copyright my book first or edit it first?
Congratulations! Age is just a number. I would write the work and edit it first. By law your work is automatically copyrighted, but when you’re done you can register it with the US Copyright Office if you’re in the US. The office asks for a copy of the work, so you’ll want to provide a finished copy with your registration. Registration is optional and not required.
