New Armada! Rapid Reinforcement 1 Summary - New Ships and Squadrons! 

This is awesome! Now I want them to do a card for the Quasar as "Phoenix Home" for the Rebels, and "Lusankya" SSD for Rebels.

I would love to see these released or atleast a $10 to $15 pack of the actual cards and cardboard.

Can't wait to try out Gozantis, sad Separatists didn't get an ace and not looking forward to playing my TIE Defender loving friend, Vader seems very strong. But more Armada is worth any pain in games.

This makes me just so happy! I’ve just recently gotten multiple friends into loving the game but recently they were lamenting the belief that new Armada content was extinct. This + the fact that it’s only (1) leaves the clear implication there will be more, and I couldn’t be more excited to let them know & print these for our group!!

Something that I find interesting about the Providence is that due to its double Support Team slot and engineering value it could make a decent healing boat. I know healing isn't a popular role in the meta, but it's still cool to see another ship that can fill the niche pop up

A Venator 2 alongside a Victory 1 with SPHA-T would be an awesome combo. Venator sending in 5 squadrons while the Victory deals lots of damage. I'm excited to try it out

Just started playing armada, and chose the Separatists. I really enjoyed playing my first game, and trying to understand how it works. You make amazing videos, and it helps me understand everything. Keep up the amazing work

The new Vader sounds very interesting. Lots of dice reroll to really maximize the damage output against those aces. I'm really interested in seeing him in action

Glad we got a flotilla for the Seps, even if it’s not technically a CROC Gozanti, hey - it still works. Definitely need a similar fix for the Pubs. This was such an easy add-on that everyone had been screaming for, glad they are starting to listen!

Crabbok’s edited ship cards are great for reference while list building, so thank you! I’m hoping that Rapid Reinforcements I means there’s a II and more on the way. If that’s the case, it makes sense that AMG is holding off on releasing a card/cardboard pack. Print & Play is also useful for playtesting. I don’t share Crabbok’s enthusiasm for the Rebel Providence “Carrier” because it seems like AMG is offsetting its 95 points cost with double upgrade slots that are NECESSARY to make it a viable carrier using EHB and Raymus Antilles, which increase its cost to 107 points, which is 1 point MORE than a MC80 Command Cruiser. This ship is going to be “fun” to try out but I don’t see it becoming part of the Rebel META. It’s interesting that the Rebel Providence can equip two Boarding Parties, but it won’t be able to equip EHB; with only 2 squadrons, why is it classified as a carrier? I suppose just because it has the Seppie Providence Carrier’s dice pool? But NOT its Speed-3 movement somehow? If Rebel players want to use the Rebel Providence as a “destroyer”, the ship desperately needs Engine Techs for the extra speed and yaw, otherwise it will be difficult getting in range to use its black dice and Boarding Teams. So again, its true cost increases to 103 points to be viable. I assume that AMG designed the Rebel Providence to be “thematic” as a slapped together Rebel Refit. IMO it would’ve been better if they had created a “Rebel Home” ship title with this specific upgrade slot configuration, and given the Rebel Providence Carrier ship card more traditional upgrade slots. No complaints about the Republic Victory-I SD. The only thing is now that the Republic VSD1 exists, I wish AMG would revise the Empire’s VSD2 to reflect its lore-inspired improvements: Either increase its speed to 3 and give it extra yaw to justify its 12 point difference from the VSD1, or LOWER its points cost and give it the Support Team slot for Engine Techs. A Print & Play card will suffice. The fixed Vader TIE Defender card seems more reasonable now… although limiting his ability to unique squadrons seems redundant IMO. I can’t imagine anyone using VADER to eliminate generics before going after aces. I suppose a counter could be to mob and pin down Vader with generic squadrons and let ace squadrons focus on “blowing up the Death Star”. It kinda seems unfair that the Separatists didn’t get a new squadron. Jango Fett’s Slave-1 seems like an obvious choice. Perhaps AMG is planning to release a Clone Wars “Rogues & Villains” squadron pack, hopefully! Overall though, it’s great to see new stuff for Armada! Bring on Rapid Reinforcements II!!

One of the last video I watched was the super depressing one where armada was ‘cancelled’ so this one was nice to see. I’m really excited for the new rebels stuff and might have to buy into clone wars stuff. I also love that these aren’t just the exact same card just in a new faction they are a new version of these ships. I’m excited for where this is going.

I for one had to stop to import ships because world went upside down, so this was a great idea indeed. I can't wait to see more expansions like this. This was so wild that I can't even think what I would personaly want. Hope they can bring new upgrades and titles like on this format.

I didn't like what was done to the Providence's squadron value but when Crabbok put the ships in a SW historical context, it does make a lot of sense, the droid fighters are so much more compact than the Rebel's manned fighter craft. Still, I would love to try to turn it into a proper carrier some time, eager to play with these new variants and it is uplifting to see ATG hasn't left us Armada players in the cold.

Bru... I called it so long ago that there were going to be ships with the unique symbol, even more specifically for crossed faction ships! I can't wait to try and test some of these out during the next week on the table!

Ooo I'm happy as have a Rebel fleet and now got the Separatist now so yay when I get use a ship on both fleets...

Name of the modified Rebel Providence-class carrier was Rebel One.

Love it. I'm especially excited for the new squadrons which are so thematically cool!

Little disappointed that they didn't come out with physical copies and cardboard at least for the squads, ship titles and upgrade cards. But we get armada now, instead of waiting another year just to get physical copies. Can't wait to see what RR II brings!

This is great news for the armada community it's great for adding a bit of variety to lists that might be going a bit stale. I expect a second wave of reinforcements will have the quasar force revels and the nebulon for the empire for example

still deciding whether or not to buy a providence, looks fun to use with a rebel fleet!

The update on the cards also included making the Venator II and Providence unique (so no multiple versions in lists).

I'm guessing that the providence is a troop transport, hence the double board. The spha-t doesn't work on the victory on Ryan's fleet builder.

This seems like a cool way to add to the game. I’d love to see these as physical cards down the line.

New stuff is pretty exciting. This type of thing seems pretty easy for the devs to pull off. If they drop these regularly it's a huge positive for the game.

This really got me excited for armada again and I think it will be very interesting playing with these new ships. However I am a bit sad that there were not more small or medium ships.

The Providence Carrier's art show a Recusant in Rebel colors in the foreground. Hoping they get the Recusant in the future. Its one of my favorite ships and the more fleets I can run it in, the better.

I'm pretty happy with many of these choices. I felt Republic needed another medium or large ship and the Victory was going to be my choice. I also felt Separatists needed a small ship. Not sure about the CROC being the one yet, but it is needed. Only wish there were titles for the ships. Hopefully in the future. In other news, I can now paint a Venator to a camouflage Vittorio Veneto.
