LED lights in theory can not dim, as I understand they "flicker" or pulse on and off at a different interval that we can not see with the naked eye to give the appearance as being dim or not as bright. A camera on the other hand can capture the off and on state due to frame rate which give the appearance of them flickering. I'm probably wrong but that's my interpretation of it.

The exhaust is quieter instead you can hear the turbo, we need like a comparison to m240i and can we get a drive by of the new m440i so we can hear how the exhaust sounds while driving.

Canadian cars have more exhaust restrictions set into place compared to USA

@@Anon_finderNot true.This car has the exact same new B58 that the US gets and like Canada it also has the Otto Particle Filter.That is why the exhaust is quieter in the MY25 compared to the MY24.

Appreciate the detailed walkaround. Confirmed my decision to keep my '23 pre-LCI idrive 7 m440. Crazy at the amount of cost cutting removals/changes while also increasing the MSRP.

‘24 has a better I-drive system, better lighting all around, more horsepower, nicer wheel set up, and carbon package To me it sounds like it is all around better than the previous model

Strange I got one on order but in the US so I don’t have exhaust restrictions, and what not. If my doesn’t come with it I’ll tell them to change it😂 After all I’m paying 20k more

Try lowering your fps to 30, that should solve the flickering lights on camera

What do you think about: Sensatec vs Vernasca leather? Is there any dif in comfort or feels/looks?

I'd say no difference in comfort, but the vernasca seats gain side bolster but they do physically feel different with your hands but the sensatec is a very good man made leather. I've had sensatec now twice, it's all good for me. I like vernasca cuz it had m colours on piping and side bolster was cool but not necessary

I love your videos. I'm getting a 2025 240xi. I would love to see the aluminum brush, the carbon fiber and the grey ash wood trim. I'm torn between those. Illuminated M Trim can only be the brush aluminum, I think it's to loud, so the carbon fiber or Ash grey may be better options. But have no cars on lots or videos showing these trims. I hope you do soon, sure you will.

Hey Allen, do you know if these LCI models come with the OPF installed like the european models or still without it like the pre-LCI models for North America?

I don't think we have OPF in Canada, not sure about all North America but usually Canada and US have similar specs

Hi Allen, The 2025 M440i coupe does have the OPF.If you look at the BMW Canada ordering guide for the MY25 M440i coupe it is listed under standard features.The exact description is 1D1 Exhaust Technology SULEV30 PMTECHN.That is the OPF.Any BMW that has the B58 TU2 engine in the US and Canada will come with the OPF.That is why the current X5 and X7 also have the OPF in the US and Canada because they have the B58 TU2 engine.The MY25 M340i will also have the OPF because it is coming with the B58 TU2 engine.Thats why i recently ordered the MY24 M340i.I don’t want the exhaust sound ruined by the car having the OPF.

@@dj1nnie No.Thankfully BMW isn’t putting the OPF in the 2025 M4 and M3 with the S58 engine for the US and Canada.The M4 and M3 Competition models get a 20 hp increase but that’s the only change to the engine.So you will still get a good sounding exhaust.

Not a fan of the new headlights but do loke the CSL inspired rear lights. My fellow i4 owners want to get the new rear lights - actually one owner in the GTA already got the CSL rear lights like all the new 4's have. We have mixed emotions about the grill though in the 94 owners forum.

I like the LCI alot personally, I like the grille personally but I didn't dislike the preLCI grille lol
