I’m 74 and fully agree. In addition I dyed my white hair purple. I’m old, I’ve earned the right to be weird if I want!

I watched some of those 'don't wear this over 50' or whatever videos and then decided that they will pry my boho tops from my cold, dead hands. I think prints like what you are wearing are gorgeous, I wish I felt more like 'me' in prints. (But the taupe and cobalt blue is beautiful...I think I could wear that.)

Fabulous collection Kristen. Love the patterns and wow the fabrics are outstanding. I am also 72 and certainly don’t want to be told what I can and cannot wear. I want to wear what makes me happy but still look good. So much to choose from. ❤

👏👏👏 sewing made me realise how many "rules" had filtered into my beliefs about what I could and shouldn't wear at a certain age and size. Turns out wide silhouettes on a wide bottom are great for feeling floaty and free. And you know what - others admire our freedom and style

Such amazing fabrics! And I agree with you regarding the 'dress code' for those over 50. Those so-called style gurus are clearly not sewing themselves. I wear what I like🙂

You look great in that tunic. I never watch those channels that try to give you rules about what to wear - the best look is the one that makes you happy. Love the new fabrics and patterns.

You look absolutely beautiful in that print, Kristen. I just love it! I watched an 'upcoming trends' video the other day and was a little bit devastated to see it was full of pared back neutrals and clean (kinda boring) sophistication. I'm very pleased to see that our fabric companies are still designing delicious bold prints and florals that we can turn into big floofy dresses.💙

Wow - such beautiful fabrics and patterns! I always start looking and think I don’t need any more and end up deciding there is always something I need or want! So glad you have all these fabrics and patterns available in Australia. Still loving all of the block prints especially up here in Queensland as it is still hot and humid.

Beautiful collection of patterns and fabrics the French really are tres chic I’m nearly 59 and definitely not listening to those people who say I shouldn’t wear a particular colour, print or style ☺️

Such a wonderful range of beautiful fabrics. You have a knack for choosing something for everyone. I especially love that watery effect viscose from Atelier Jupe. Will you be getting any of the Maison Fauve new release fabrics? Especially that lace cotton? Happy Easter to you and the family. 🐣🐇🌸

I love everything about your shop but unfortunately I live in the USA… however, my husband will be collaborating with colleagues in Tasmania starting January 2025. I probably can’t bring my sewing machine though😞 I agree about the videos/advice about “what to wear over 50.” I call BS! I’ve always been a free spirit and I find that other people admire that even if they’re afraid to be that themselves. You’re right, that’s why we sew

Honestly i dont like most the colors they are way to loud and floral to me. I dont want pota on my cloths are flowers. I do like the first shirt with flowy sleeves but thats all.
