Thanks for that extra thorough review! These amazing shoes were given to me as a gift. The problem is that they are so gorgeous that I hate to run in them. Can you point me to some links on how to clean and care for this particular brand?
Thank you for this input. As a new runner I have version 11. Im looking at this version 12 however I run more than 3 times a week now. What would be a suggestion as far as a different new balance model for running more than 3 days ?
Hi Andre, I would still stay with the 1080. The only other neutral shoe to consider from NB is the MoreV4. However this shoe will run very different. Soft, higher stack height which does provide more of a cushioned ride, however this might not be ideal or what you are after. The shoe will last roughly the same amount of KMs as 1080 (potentially a few less to be honest). The overall upper of 1080v12 is more supportive and a better build than v11. Midsole performance pretty similar, however we/I find the v12 a more consistent ride through entire transition. Note: v13 not too far away, which has another change in the overall performance of the midsole, which we will see it be softer under foot, with a change in the durometer and alteration with the flex grooves. If you like v11, then I would opt for v12 as your replacement. You might find them on sale soon with v13 landing in the coming months. Regards, Josh
Great video. Keep the content coming!!! I'm looking to buy a pair of trail running shoes for an event I am running in September. I make 3 videos a week about my training, and my latest upload is about running shoes. In that video I talk about how pink and black is my favourite colour for running shoes, but I can't find a pair of pink and black trail runners. Do you know of any you can recommend?
Thanks for the feedback and good luck for the trail event in September! The only thing we could find that's close to a black and pink is the Altra Mont Blanc but it is more of a light red unfortunately. Here's the link for reference! www.sportitude.com.au/p/altra-mont-blanc-mens-trail-running-shoes-coral-black Happy Running
Thanks for watching and sending through your Q. Length is the same. The width however is a constant discussion point here when fitting. The 12’s new knitted construction through the forefoot has a little more elasticity to it. So….. a little more give. We are finding a runner who might have been between a D and 2E previously, will be Ok in the D width. Or B and D ladies discussion. It’s one that we have a few returns and exchanges online due to this fact. So if possible always pop into a store if you can have them fitted. What’s your current shoe model, size and width? We might be able to guide you in the right direction. Regards, Josh
