Love this shoe. Probably my favorite of 2021. For anyone interested in comparing it to say my other favorite Saucony Endorphin Speed, the Rebel V2 to me is more comfortable. Endorphin Speed still has the more snappy/responsive ride, as it is a plated shoe. Rebel V2 has a softer, more forgiving ride. Still responsive though.

Loved the Rebel v1 up to 250 miles, after which the midsole started bottoming out regularly in the forefoot. There was dual-density foam in there, and the ridges running parallel with the toes started causing some pretty big blisters on my big toes especially. I hope there's not dual-density foam in this v2. All the reviewers say this shoe is basically the best non-plate shoe they've run in, so I look forward to getting myself a pair. Thanks, RW!

Interesting shoe, curios to try it. As a daily trainer it seems from the video that there is too much foam exposed in the outsole, that gave me the feeling of low duration of the outsole. The profile curved instead I like because it gives a snappy toe off look to the shoe which probably it is snappy and light. And this is good for a daily trainer because it is versatile for slow but also for fast runs. Thanks for the video!

I know you said no plate but didn’t the v1 have that TPU plate in the forefoot? So this version doesn’t have that?

The Rebel v1 didn't necessarily have a forefoot "plate", but it was more of a forefoot TPU foam insert. It was a piece in the forefoot built for high energy return, not rigidity. The rebel v2 doesn't offer any forefoot pieces but the foam running full length is very highly responsive which should make it ideal for picking up the pace. -Connor

@Running Warehouse, very excited to run in these. I am being convinced to skip the Nike Invincible, and go to the Rebel V2 as they are more versatile. Just wondering when they will release, first talks were March, but now hearing it might not be until May. Thanks.

Yes, definitely two very different shoes. Invincible is more of a plush yet responsive, high mileage trainer, while rebel v2 will be fast and nimble performance trainer with enough cushioning to use for daily training. As of now, launch of rebel is looking like beginning of may, maybe late April if shipments are on time. -Connor

Is there any cushioning under the forefoot? (That is what I miss in a lot of speed shoes. In my opninion in a speed shoe you ONLY need cushioning in the forefoot😉

Does the V2 have a TPU plate in the forefoot like the V1, I know it does not have a carbon plate, but the V1 had the TPU and it really helped pick up the pace.

So many shoes with worthy tech...but what kills it for many IMHO...are the often "fruity" colour ways.. So many guys out there I"m sure like myself aren't into "orange/pink" uppers sieth some orange tread. Give us all black tread and "masc colours (e.g. navy blue/grey...Tired of the dayGlo pastel colours...or feminine colours
