New Balance SC Elite v3 after 210 Miles 

Funny story, saw a teen wearing this on his feet at the gym last night. I was wondering what model of NB shoe is that. Today, just got the answer from this video😂 I only knewnof the 1080 v13 that I’m excited to get. Didn’t know about this shoe. Thanks for the after long run review.

I love the shoe! So comfortable. Hate the yellow colour, but it's the one I could get relatively cheap. I've heard others talk about the sock liner sliding out in the RC Elite V2 (also one of my favourites), but I don't have that experience, fortunately. I agree that getting a good lockdown can be quite the challenge initially, I had a hard time even getting my feet in the first time.

I had the same issue with the sock liner in V2. Come on NB! (Same awesome durability though)

I bought a pair initially for a Marathon shoe which it performed great with the exception of noticing bottoming out on the forefoot. I didn’t really warm to it though, I guess (despite a PB) it didn’t feel ‘race day’ enough’). Since then I’ve had it as a training shoe and I’ve loved it. I’m nearly 400 miles in and it’s now starting to get thinning in the upper in the toe box.

I like it but I did turn an ankle on some uneven ground. As the bottom is split into two left and right so can be unsteady on uneven ground.

I have it in Banana color.. Amazing shoe. Great video.

New Balance SC Trainer V2 collect stones the size of Texas..

Had the same problem with the previous version, rocks and other things would get stuck in de middle, really annoying

Thanks for the review! My only gripe is that I don't get NB shoes with their fit and sizing. While this shoe fits me like a glove in my size 9, I had to go half size up for SC range even though Fresh Foam X (1080v12, More V4) shoes feel a bit big in size 9. There were some sales in NB online store for New York version of SC Elite V3 and I couldn't be happier I got one then. Feels great and I'm happy to see it holds up for you over the distance.

How would you compare the SC Trainer to the Saucony Speed line?

I got the blueish/teal colorway of these and love them. Love them for long runs but prefer the Adios Pro 3 for racing.

Does it has a good space in the toebox? for long easy miles is it stable? wide midfoot? Thanks

I've heard that the bungee lace system is prone to breaking. Any experience with that?

My problem with the way shoes feel after a few runs is that I don't know if the shoe changed or my brain got used to it?

Use double side tape to fix the problem of the insole?

I had to change the insole with this shoes cause had blister on my forefoot

100% agree on the softness. It'd be nice for training but if you aren't a fan of soft/squishy shoes (which admittedly I'm not) then racing in it would be iffy. Also I hate sock uppers. Hate. Please stop shoe companies

Too soft. And according to my daughter new balance is "mid" . So i race in adidas. My dad is "grampo" he likes New balance. Nothing wrong with that. Thats just what it is.
