In this video we review the New Balance FuelCell SuperComp Elite v4 Shoes in under 3 minutes and decide if this the best marathon running shoe with a carbon plate or not?
So many people saying you want a shoe that feels fast (Metaspeeds, AlphaVaporflys etc). But for the marathon you want control, not all out speed. It’s heavier than ideal, but this shoe delivers on that. It’s comfortable and protective over the long haul.
Ran my first marathon in these, worked for me, I'm not super fast though(8:00/mile). I liked the cushion & bounce, although its the only race shoe ive run it. I did try the Endorphin Pro 4, still chose the NB.
For once I disagree with your review. I believe they are excellent shoes for the marathon. They are great for any speed. They are protective but if you run fast then these shoes help keep up.
I will let you off hahahahahaa but seriously I like the shoe, yes its heavy etc but its a good shoe I just wish it was lighter and a little more.... fast
This is a shoe for heavier runners who need a bit of stability. A run with a few people and the heavier of us with mild pronation? LOVE this shoe. It doesn’t feel heavy to us because of the amount of force we put into the foam.
Do you think the advantage can be that is more stable? This is what Yowana think, he say is probably the most stable super trainer... I am looking for a stable platform...
Did one run and put them on ebay. Difficult to get a good lockdown and heel rub. Also didn't feel that much assistance. Adios pro 3 and endorphin pro 4 better. Would even pick endorphin pro 3 over it
280 euro for a super trainer! I love New Balance shoes, but the SC Trainer v2 was already too much at 230. The Metaspeed Paris shoes (which are currently mostly unavailable, unfortunately) are 'only' 250.
So if you have been using it for goal pace sessions and found it worked "very good for those sessions"...then logic says it must be good for you to race in since you are running at "goal pace"...
