The moment Akane hits her drums and everyone start playing, it becomes ONE sound and you simply can't mistake that sound ... you just know it's Band-Maid! Truly a magical performance and a wonderful concert ♥

K-Ross, Kanami said she wrote this song as an anthem that the audience could fully participate in. With the music and the lyrics, she and Miku nailed it. Saiki sang it to perfection, all the band members added so much with their musical excellence. A great (even iconic) song makes an emotional connection between the musicians and the audience. This is one of those songs.

Whole concert was amazing and this was a fitting end song. Saiki has developed so much, now a warm, passionate vocalist and great frontperson. The emotion and passion was just pouring out of her during this song. You are not the only one to get tears, Saiki shouting the last "arigato" you can see on her face and the hoarsness of her voice she is struggling not to cy, well it starts off the onion ninjas attacking my eyes every time I watch it.

Hi, K-Ross. I am pohojisan from BM-CD. It is very emotional and great reactions, even better than usual. I've posted it in the comments section of other reactions so some of you may have read it, but I'll post it here as well. ------------------------------------------------------- In the past, when talking about endless Story, KANAMI, the lead guitarist and composer of the song, said, "This song can only be completed when all the audience (Masters and Princesses) join with the "WO-WO" chorus in the live venue."

Many tears have been shed over this song... this specific performance is just over the top. Just beautiful all the way around. The connection they have to us is awesome, thanks for the reaction! You should check out "Smile Live" and "Memorable"... both written for the us Maidiacs.

From Japan. I can't tell you how many times these girls have made me cry. They strike a chord with me by expressing their pure hearts and raw emotions in a direct way, without decoration. Thank you for your wonderful reactions. At the moment, no tour in Europe has been announced, but there is a possibility that they may go to Europe later this autumn. I am really looking forward to receiving the Blu-ray of this concert next week. (This will also come with a documentary on the girls backstage). Thank you for your continued BAND-MAID support.

@@wave8359 with all due respect, this is a bit dismissive of other peoples' financial situations (including myself). Concerts/gigs are expensive, plane tickets even more so. Not everyone can just afford a plane ticket out of nowhere, I certainly can't.
@FromUtah

@wave8359 What an ignorant entitled comment to make. I'm not sure where you're getting all your money, but the majority of the world works hard every day just to survive. The idea of just hopping on a plane to Japan, Korea, China, wherever, is nothing but a fantasy for most of us. For us the best way for us to show these artists love is to support them from where we are by purchasing albums, streaming music, making videos, etc. The reason the artists come to us is because that's their way of saying "We understand you can't one see us here, so to show our appreciation for your support, we'll come to you. Maybe support us while we're there by purchasing some over-priced merch." Would we love to see them in their home country? Absolutely. Can we? No. Check yourself. Don't be an insensitive troll.

@@FromUtah Well said. I estimated the costs of 2 people flying to Korea to see a show....about $4,000 to $5,000 US dollars...Not a lot of money if you are a millionaire, but for the rest of us....Not so much. I'll just continue to support our Idols the way I can, purchasing merch, Albums and If they happen to come to our county...well, then i'll try to get a ticket to a show.

I would implore you to do whatever it takes to see Band-Maid live! What you see on the live YT videos and concert DVD/Blu-Rays show what a great live band they are, but when you are there in person that gets multiplied by non-quantifiable factorials! I had the honor of seeing them live eight times in a ten-month period afer they returned to the US post-pandemic in October 2022. While one venue was a 20-minute drive from my suburban Detroit home, the others were between 4- and 13-hour drives. I can say with 100% certainty it was worth well more than the travel time as well as what I spent. I was lucky to have my kid as my traveling/concert partner for ths first six shows (she had recently graduated university and took some time before finding work in her field - she isn't what would be classified as a huge fan, but she had a blast at every show). endless Story was on the setlist for each of the shows I was at. Half of the time it was mid-set in a combo with songs like Choose Me and Daydreaming. Two shows it was the closing song and the other two the penultimate song (NO GOD was the closer in those shows). Unlike Yokohama Arena, the venues here were between 750 and 2500-ish capacity but everyone was totally into joining in the chorus and it was great. endless Story is FAR from my favorite B-M studio song, but it's absolutely fire live. B-M has several songs that I characterize like this, just ok or good studio songs but killer lives (mostly due to a) great spots for crowd participation that doesn't show up in the studio recording and b) the ladies absolutely LOVE playing them and really engage with each other and the crowd). For ME (MY OPINION LOL) songs such as Unleash, Screaming, FREEDOM and DOMINATION also fit that bill. And most are live staples so they're doing something right! Since you've already reacted (and fell in love with) About Us, I'd suggest doing a combo-platter of the other two "love letters written to their fans" songs. The first was Smile (the B-side to the single for Bubble), which is a Top-5 B-M song for me. I generally prefer their hard-driving sound but two of my top 5 are Daydreaming and Smile. There is an acoustic version of Smile that is on the YT channel Instrumental Maid. The most recent, as has been mentioned a few times, is Memorable, which was written during their October 2022 US tour. In interviews they've mentioned not being sure on how they would be received after being unable to tour for so long, despite staying active with their fans by doing several streamed on-line shows. They were somewhat stunned, however, when nearly every show was played to full capacity and were overwhelmed by the support. Kanami started picking through the melody while riding their tour bus and Kobato penned the lyrics for it. There is an official MV on their YT page for it. As always, appreciate the sincere reactions and the obvious love you have for Band-Maid! Sorry for the War and Peace length post lol

Great reaction typical of most of us maidiacs. The editor did a really good job not picking shots of the girls holding back/crying. In the live stream it was very obvious that there was a lot tears on that stage.

Memorable is a song they wrote for their US fans after their incredibly successful 2022 US tour. It was their first big tour post Covid and they weren't sure how they would be received. They were overwhelmed by the response and wrote Memorable. There is a MV

Yes, I believe it should be the last video released from this set. The DVD/Blu-Ray comes out on 27-03-2024. It was also the last song they sung in the concert. It wasn't just Akane-san and Saiki-san who were emotional. All of them were! :) But if you watch different videos of this song since 2022, Akane-san is always emotional.

Chills, watery eyes, goosebumps. All common symptoms of Maid Mania. But it's tough to tour there when they can't fly through Russian Airspace. Maybe as a second leg of a World Tour.

I thought they would manage to squeeze in a 4th live video release from this show before the DVD drops next week and they did. This, obviously, was the finale of the concert (last out of 33 songs) so it may be the last one we see. Lots of emotions for this one. I especially liked the lyrics they added towards the end just for the fans. 🥰

Thanks again from Japan 有難う。I was there in Yokohama with tears of joy and saddness to say good-bye to the girls. The moving finale of the 3-hour-40-minute long show. (33 songs) A little off topic. I went to see Band-Maid's ACOUSTIC concert held in Shibuya on March 20. All of 14 songs performed there were amazing. The finale of the show "Daydreaming" was especially breathtaking for me. In addition to the beautiful singing, kudos to FIVE instrumental players ! (Saiki on piano)

The reason they've been releasing excerpts of the YokoAri show is because preordering of the concert BR/DVD has been active. This is the closer song and since the dvd official release is Wednesday probably the last Official Live from the concert. Hie yourself over to their webpage and make your purchase. Thanks for the reaction!

endless story is an emotional concert closer, perfect for Yokohama Arena and the end of their 10 year anniversary tour. BTW, they just finished up an all-acoustic show (which we hope becomes available on optical or streaming at some point). Last time they did that was in 2021. There are a couple of songs from that show you might want to check out, Catharsis and Sayonakidori.

One of the most impressive things about Saiki s voice is that she is actually not using a falsetto, she can actually belt those notes in a head voice which is so hard. You hear a little of it in that small vocal run she does in this song and that's why she can effortlessly switch between high and low. In Sayonakadori, Miku switched to a falsetto for her last high note , and in the commentary to that acoustic show (yes they did a full commentary to that concert) Miku said Saiki would always yell at her "no falsetto", you can do it nautirally. Miku politely disagreed lol. It's a small distinction but one that just makes the admiration for Saikis voice grow even more. Just thought you'd like to know. Great reaction and I've enjoyed seeing your Band-Maid journey.

Still waiting patentily for you to get to Rosé's other covers (or were you lying about that? you've been done Blakcpink what months now I guess you finished everything with Lisa and just said that's it) In case you're not a liar which it seems you are she has a ton of them and she often gets recognized by the original artists like Coldplay, John Mayer, Alicia Keys', alsey (they even became friends and hung out uploaded photos) and more have praised her covers of their songs. She has them on her own channel, Blackpink's channels, some she did in concert, and some on a show called Sea of Hope Billboard magazine was making best-of list for her covers. Sea of Hope covers (someone compiled all the covers into one video that is 35 minutes) Paramore's - The Only Exception (she plays guitar on this one) John Mayer's - Slow Dancing In The Burning Room (John Mayer sent her one of his signature series guitars in the color Roxy Pink with a thank you note for her cover) Lucky (with Onew) If I Ain't Got You (with Onew, Suhyun) (Alicia Keys' uploaded a clip of Rosé singing it on her own social media) Time Spent Walking Through Memories( with Onew) (she plays a bit of piano in the begging of this one) The Killers - Read My Mind has a different style for her and a great vibe. some from her own Rosesarerosie' channel (she has a habit of uploading covers for fans on her birthday she started with Halsey's Eyes Closed and Nat King Cole's The Christmas song they are both on Blackpink's main channel, Halsey started following her and they became friends and hung out in Paris(they posted pics) and the Nat Kind Cole official Twt shouted her out when she covered the classic The Christmas Song. On her RU-vid channel rosesarerosie Coldplay's Viva La Vida (Coldplay praised her voice and wished her a happy birthday.) Neck Deep's December, (Punk band Neck Deep was thrilled with her acoustic live cover so much so that the lead singer has now said in two separate interviews the band wants to open for Blackpink) Until I Found You (Stephen Sanchez linked her cover on his IG page when she uploaded it with high praises) Sunset Cover - Wildfire She has even more (counting shorter covers she has more than Blackpink has songs) it's great because we get to see her do things we don't get to see in Blackpink like play guitar or piano and sing songs from a bunch of different genres, rock, pop, punk, she even did a 'cute' acoustic rap cover of the hip hop song 'Not For Long' a few years ago when Blackpink was on a reality show it's on RU-vid. It's clear how much music means to Rosé.
