New Batman VR Game! Batman Arkham Shadow Coming To Meta Quest 3! 

finally a game that won't be limited to running on quest 2, hopefully from now on the exclusives and big studios will only be on quest 3 hardware.

By the looks of the Batman suit in this trailer, it's set after Arkham Origins, so it could well be Roger Craig Smith voicing Batman in this game. He has worked with Meta before, when he reprised his role as Ezio in last years Assassin's Creed Nexus game.

The only ones hating are just mad it's a Quest 3 VR exclusive. I think it's it's great that the platform is getting bigger titles and there needs to be a reason to buy the headset

Could not agree more with you. I wouldn't mind if they were on quest 2 also they did a good job with re4 on quest 2 and 3 and with quest games optimizer on quest 3 it looks better than the ps4 release of re4 and is soo clear in the head set. I would be very interested in re2 remake on quest 3 as well as re3 remake. Ik the graphics may not be as good as ps4 or ps5 but I still would love to see how much they can get out of quest 3. I think this batman game and metro awakening will truly show us the power of quest 3 may it be good or bad.

Yeh, that's what I've been reading in more traditional gaming forums. I also stated "Loving the almost a decade old negative vr comments" They'll come around eventually! We're only getting it all now really cuz we're informed and into it.

Arkham VR isn't on Quest, it's PSVR and PCVR only. The only game made by Camoflaj that got a Quest port was Iron Man VR. As for Meta giving you Batman Arkham Shadow, well that's not going to happen I'm afraid because while Camoflaj did make Iron Man VR for PSVR, they were acquired by Meta in 2022, so they're now a 1st party studio under the Oculus Games division. The contract Meta signed with WB was just to licence the Batman Arkham IP, this game will be exclusive to Quest 3, just like Resident Evil 4 (original version, not the remake) and Assassin's Creed Nexus are Meta exclusives.

The devs are now own by meta so the chances are really small , but not impossible. I hope it also, I've psvr2 and Quest 2, and my gaming is 95% or more on Psvr2

That's fine and all, and to be clear I'm with you, exclusives suck. But let's be real, Quest has by far the biggest user base. If it flopped on Quest, Psvr and Pcvr wouldn't have saved it.

You *honestly* can't "figure out" why Meta isn't funding big games, only to hand them over to their competition once they're finished? 🤔

@@jessekoepp3928 most platform owners don't make a great amount from the hardware it's the software sales that count. As for devs like Ubisoft making games for one platform ignoring all others makes no sense when the market is already so small. VR is a small amount of gamers the exclusive model of the large consoles doesn't work here, it only harms.

@@GameJunky513 Would of massively helped though?, it just doesn't make sense at this scale to ignore two big platforms. If VR wants to grow it needs to get past these old ways of doing business.

They're a multi-billion dollar, multi-national mega corporation that has embraced every single piece of greedy cancer that currently plagues the games industry. Who exactly *forced* them to make a game for one platform cause you seem to believe they were adrift in the wind, incapable of making their own decisions. When it comes to VR, they've done the absolute *bare minimum* they could get away with, every single time. (just like Bugthesda) Nexus was no different imo, other than the production value, the game was completely forgettable and felt like it was barely play tested at all. Exclusives are the foundation of *why* you invest in a particular platform. Do you know why I had an og XBox, then a 360, but haven't owned one since? They don't have ANY exclusives I want or care about anymore. People don't buy a Switch so they can get the lamest, worst versions of third party titles. They buy it for *exclusives* like Zelda, Metroid, and Mario, already knowing they're coming and they're gonna be fantastic. The premise that exclusives "hurt" the industry is laughable, especially when they're being funded by the very platform they're stuck on forever. Nobody else is funding big VR games except Meta and Sony (that I'm aware of) and I just so happen to own both of their consoles, can you guess why that is? 🤔
