Hey can you guys make some playlists for the different diesel trucks/ engines you do kits for? I’m keeping my “06” Cummins and would love to be able to access your videos in one place. I’m sure everyone one else ( the Cummins family) including the GM, and Ford builders would love it too!
OK so I have purchased this product and I have the turbo installed on my 05 truck and I was wondering how one would go about timing the vgt controller in the 05 truck
What about a VGT on a 5.9l 25v? I have thought of doing this many times but there has to be a reason why nobody is doing it? I feel like it should work no?
@@robwalters9695 For the 2005-2007 325hp 5.9L Common rail engine, you would need a way of disabling cruise control while the exhaust brake is in use. If you are able to simply recall you cannot use the 2 in tandem and ensure the brake is not used during cruise function, you can follow the following steps: 305hp 5.9L Common rail engine, you can by routing the Red and Pink wire to your shifter mounted switch.
I’d look into the Banshee VGT controller from Steeds Tech. It can do everything you want and it plugs into the factory computer for all the exhaust brake functions.
Hi There, good question! The answer is...sort of 😀. The howler kit uses a special manifold, that is a 6.7L rear half, with a 5.9 front half. So, technically, yes the rear half is interchangeable with the 6.7, and a 6.7 manifold would work, it just wouldn't look as nice.
Put one on my 04.5 5.9 and it is awful, mileage down 60% and EGTS very high running empty, stock turbo was a lot better in many ways. A very low tune of 50 hp makes truck underivable. No improvements adjusting anything and I want this junk off my truck fast
