He is on gear? I'm the same height as him and weigh 7 ibs heavier with a bit less bodyfat (Assuming he still weighs around 170lbs which is the last time I checked.) If that's true.... wow.... and I thought Blaha's genetics sucked.

Vince has horrible genetics. He was a scrawny fuck that took some gear and went on a bulk. He ballooned visually but got almost zero strength for his efforts. Now it's your typical juiced lifter--big-ish, but a total fairy on the weights.

ummm yeah no shit. i didn't say anything about keeping tension on the chest, bench press is after all a compound exercise right, yeah. so its works multiple muscle groups. at the bottom of the rep it places the tension onto the front delts soooo yeah suck it. you don't "need" to touch your chest, ok ill give it that, but there are better ways to isolate the chest. if it were at competition he would have just failed, full range or it didn't mean shit.

why is there even a discussion going on here? i mean in 2017 is there legitimate retards that actually think a rep that doesn't touch (NOT bounce) your chest..counts? I assure you it doesn't and any serious lifter would laugh at it even being discussed. scanned the comments...some idiot thinks you lose tension when you touch your chest -.- not if you're using proper technique. As per usual 99% of those that claim they can't touch their chest or that they dont for reasons like "tension"....don't know how to bench properly. the 1% are typically those with significant injuries that have altered the natural mechanics of their shoulder (no not you person with elbows flared out like a mofo).

Zeno Ok. It looks like the ego lifters I see at my own gym who throw on too much weight and then halfway think "oh shit this is too heavy" and cut the ROM short cause they can't control the weight and almost failing.

I see people saying "The bar doesn't have to touch your chest". Try to bench 10 pounds over your PR by touching your chest, then try again by going 70% of the way down, without touching your chest. What? You couldn't press over your PR touching your chest but YOU COULD without...??? Weird...
