Sweet bike. I'm really excited that a leader in the industry isn't doubling down on the long and growing chainstay length trend. So good to see a trail bike with moderate/short chainstays. I hope you sell these like crazy and the industry takes note.
looking sick also glad a your brand isnt going down the route like most others and your still making short playful bikes ( my opinion are best short fun bikes)
The detail on these bikes in person is insane. Lucky enough to get close to some Atherton bikes at Hardline this year and was truly blown away with the quality and the finish of the bikes!!
Beautiful new bike release!! That's one sleek looking bike I would absolutely love to get my hands on!! Additive manufacturing is changing the industry BIG TIME and it looks like you're leading the way!
I've must say all the bikes look so sick with the carbon titanium mix..... if I ever had the chance to get an bike sponsor I would pick atherton bikes all the time keep the great work up 🔥🔥👍
I love unique . I don't think there is anything that matches this for being different .Total head turner and so advanced. I was wondering if you were going to make a hardtail but this is definitely the best of both worlds. I need one
Good job Rache! This wasn't too schelling or too laid back. Do wonder if the kink in the seattube is an issue for short-leggede riders and long dropper-posts?
Hey Rache, it seems to me that this size travel will likely be at least as secure as it’s bigger sibs because of its roots. And, just saying, your presentation is a cut above your brothers’ and no doubt represents natural talent, but possibly your extensive work with RB live and recorded stuff as well. Anyway, I have a few shares, a GSP and all that’s left is one of these!
At 3:16 the shock hex frame fastener is unbelievably loose for a rotating high torque area. Is there any concern for this rounding out after prolonged use?
22 sizes. Any of those include full 27.5” wheels? Seems like the whole industry is going 29 or mullet but there are some of us that still don’t like wagon wheels.
I am absolutely behind Atherton Bikes, but £4200 (£4850 if you want is customized) for a frame is making Santa Cruz CC and Specialized S Works equivalents look cheap. I guess when you are dropping £7-10k on a new bike, whats another £200-£1,000 for the exclusivity of an Atherton frame. I haven't seen one on the trails yet. Props for going threaded BB and for not going down the electronic gears route. Best of luck guys.
These do look stunning, especially blacked out as they are but can anyone for the life of me, explain what good this lifetime frame warranty is if this manufacturer (and most others out there) will only warranty to the first owner? It's tokenism at best but really it's just typical marketing blurb. Most good bikes these days are bloody expensive and certainly aren't getting cheaper (post Covid), so you'd like to know when it is time to upgrade again, that at least the second owner can have this peace-of-mind also, would you think???
Its a big mistake that the price of the frame was not mention , because most of the people not even visit you webpage saying " o that must be so expensive" .... and indeed its expensive , four time as should be .. if you would sell you frames with 1 K pound , you would lead the world , because you have the most simple , innovative , fast , easy to make technology to manufacture the strongest mountain bike frame .. but no , you maintain the overprice and rest in the shadow ... byway , instead of carbon tube you should use a proper titanium tube with real welding
Yep, bikes are getting expensive, some mountain bikes cost more than some motorbikes now, I think buying second hand is your best bet, look for one that's one or two years old in good condition.
Amazing bike, can't dispute it, after 12yrs of DH racing and then a couple of years racing enduro, it looks amazing, but... as an old chap with 2 kids broken knees and limited funds, I'll spend less on a levo SL, very over priced, I would love to see a breakndoqh of cost and profit margin I have nothing against profit, but even a 20% profit I fail to understand that cost
Is it overpriced though? The Levo is a mass-produced bike from a huge company, probably made in Taiwan. This is a titanium and carbon bike, rated to DH spec, made to measure and built in Wales. It’s never going to be a cheap option, and doesn’t seem bad value compared to similar bikes in the market. For what it’s worth, I couldn’t justify the cost either, but if I could I’d have bought one.
I’m lucky enough to have a turbo levo and an Atherton AM.200.M and the Athy is hand build for each customer to order. The amount of bikes that Spesh make a year they will easily be making 50% margin just because of their buying power and frames from Taiwan
Do you think there's life after death? God loves the world, He gave His Son Jesus (unto death for our sins), whoever believes will not die but have everlasting life. John3:16 Repent/belive, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. 2 Corinthians 5:8
