That wheel set was made for Sagan and from what I heard, they made two sets but he only took one. Mike's & Specialized are pals and yada yada yada, Chris ended up with them.

@@ruffrydazz2032 Chris worked for Specialized when he got them a few years ago. Rumor has it Sagan didn't want them because they were too gaudy, so they went back into the company parts bin.

I'm sorry, I don't follow... Maybe I am getting it wrong but the other guys with a similar kit to trainer road are called Terun, NorCal cycling is not theirs, and I don't think is accurate to refer to them with that name

Jeff such a bummer you left Terún. They got a great racer and person. People watching should know you’re a really good guy. You ended my reign on the Fire Station sprint on the Spectrum ride years ago. Best of luck see you at Alviso and maybe a P,1,2 crit if it’s flat!

Scott Mauller I know from a local Cube shop that Cube has a program which gets you like 40-60% off in exchange for using exclusively their bikes and equipment for a year. So the discounts are pretty big if you get sponsored.

You also have to factor in cost of living. $10k in California is not the same as $10k in rural Pennsylvania for instance.

"Winter"... LOL. I'm in Rocklin, and stopped dressing in compete thermal, when it's 40-50° so that UK cyclists don't laugh at how much of puss I am. Also, anyone interested in MikesBikes... highly recommend the team in Downtown Sac or San Rafael. I've dropped some pretty hefty coin at Mikes Bikes, and have found the service at these two stores to be more comprehensive than the others.

I see you guys doing like 40 kph no problem for super long periods of time, is that something you can do normally when just riding by yourself? I got my first ever proper road bike a few months ago and i struggle to average 28 kph but im not riding with anyone and I've heard its easier to ride faster with more people or something to that effect

rate of speed would be acceleration right? not a native speaker so it might just be a common term

rate of speed = velocity. acceleration is the rate that your velocity increases.

@@NorCalCycling rate is "per unit of time" so rate of speed would be acceleration by definition, right? Velocity is rate of change of position. Although "rate of speed" seems to have caught on in car chases and police reports and is colloquially used now as velocity (although I clearly disagree!)
