Brilliant! It was driving me crazy trying to work out why water wasn't clearing from the centre of the windscreen. Your video restored my sanity, removing the clip solved the problem completely. Thank you. When the garage fitted new wiper blades to my 2001 E46, presumably of a different type from the originals, they should have known the new blades were incompatible with the clip and removed it, but they didn't. Main dealer too. Grrr.

Life saver!!! Exactly what I needed, I had a feeling it was this clip that was causing the issue. Took it off it nows it works better

You legend I have had my car for 5 years and couldn’t understand why. I have been driving about with 1 aero blade and the other old school style.

Thanks for the video, had kept the old style with new rubber b4, just wondered, any issues with the remaining metal tab (after plastic part removal) could scratch the windshield? Should/could that metal tab be trimmed? 2006 M3 ZCP
