A very underrated car! My wife is driving her second X1 which is a 2.0i xdrive and there is no other car she would drive. Both cars have been fault free, very practical, fuel efficient and very well built. It really is all the car you really need!
On 19inch tested its ok a bit firm but not shaky so to say- owning X3 F25 LCI on sport suspension running 20s - the X3 is more comfortable than the X1 running on 19s but that because probably of the wheelbase difference. The car really is running smoothly, its relaxed and honestly provides more space feeling inside than the current X3 - i drove them back to back. We ordered the 30e and waiting for it in the next month and a half.
Drove it yesterday, all reviews fail to point out that the “central console” is the wrong way around in the RHD version. The unit is the same as that on the LHD version & so opens on the passenger side with the gear shift away from the driver. BMW get your act together. BTW it’s the same with the new 2 series. Can’t understand why professional reviewers not picking up on this.
Moving simple functions to the screen will cause frustration, sometimes a simple button works better than having to go through menus and menus to change things like the fan speed and heating.
We ordered one already BUT as a 14+ years owning cars from the brand - the idrive knob is essential and thats the thing they should have left ...its too distracting and not the comfortable using touch screen while driving ...we are so used to using the knob as everythign is intuitive...they are keeping it in the x3,x2 but not in x1
The X2 & X3 are older designs so likely the next versions will not include the iDrive knob. Do keep in mind this is a built on a Mini Platform which doesn't have iDrive.
@@kevincarpenter2525 even built on mini platform, that shouldn’t affect the idrive design.New X3 for sure will have the knob ,as it will keep the center console which is missing here,at least not at that size - i guess thats the reason - space saving to make it roomier which in fact is.
shows they don't care about the "poorer" customers, who can't afford a 3 series and above car. It is a huge step back by BMW and they will lose customers do to this. The idrive rotary controller was a huge difference maker in the infotainment world and they have just downgraded themselves on the level of VW group...
@@talkandplay 30e is the better option and not that difference in price..we ordeder a month ago the 30e full spec M sport, custom color,leather,19inch,all shadow line and all possible extras we can checkbox :) including the panorama ps: from the info we have officially ordered on 27.09 - it shuld go in production around 10th of Nov
Not sure if the car is as good as mentioned. The ride is very stiff and pumpy . The sests are not comfortable . The power is on the low side and the interior is lots of plastic and fake leather.
