11 more 777F orders should help bridge the gap until the 8F finally comes on line. Nice backlog of nearly 80 airframes for the old reliable proven freighter.
Good for Boeing. On other news, talks between the worker's union and Boeing just broke down, strikes continue. Set to cost Boeing approx a billion per month. Whether you like Boeing or not, them being in this poopshow does not help anyone. Airbus can't alone meet the demands.
Leasing companies making bank because they can buy the planes and take the spots. Then airlines that don’t order before they need them have no choice but lease.
In the what world is $140k a year, $7500 a year for medical, & a 401k that would leave someone with $2-3 Million dollars at 65 not enough? If we are fighting for pension, why? Why fight for a pension that paid ~50% of wages after 45 years, when we have a 401k that will pay 300%+?
@@neavemaynard6867 I agree , especially when the company is in bad shape but in hoeing defence if they don't pay their Ceo well, they won't get a good ceo next time around. It creates a bad rep in that "high level executives circle" I hope you understand
Studies show A Boeing 737 is landing or taking off somewhere in the world every 3-10 Seconds 24/7. Boeing has been building the 737 since 1966. They have gobs more airplanes in service than Airbus.
At this point, I low key want the boeing machinist to learn a lesson enough of your greed union management. Average worker wants to work but greedy leaders won't let them vote.
ahem......did you not notice that the workers held a vote and rejected the offer negociated by their quote "leaders" and Boeing by 96%. I would say that the a large percentage of the 33,000 average machinist worker had their say and vote.
@@gumpyoldbugger6944 I don't know if you know any workers (I do). But twitter will give you a good idea. You may have noticed in life, things on internet and ground realities dont often match up. Mostly people are happy with the 2nd offer and want to get back to work.
