Ten Haag is too stubborn and inflexible to do this but since you can no longer get Tadibo, put martinez in midfield as the Defensive midfielder, then partner him with Kobie or Casimero depending on game type - alternate mount and bruno, or use martinez as a single pivot with kobie/Casimero/bruno/mount ahead of him. Saves you midfield problems for 1 year, until you can reset and put the money saved towards 2 centrebacks. Martinez can cover if one gets injured or if things get as bad as last year. Depending on game type, you can play kobie, mount and Fernandez behind that danish striker you bought, or interchange them with the kids you have, like Germany are playing. You can't just buy yourselves out of this you have to maximise the players you have, in ways that don't fit "normal" If trent can invert, stones can play in midfield, Rodrigo and vinicius can play wide or narrow, kimmich can play midfield or full back - then you can't normalise comfortable. Shaw already plays left back AND centreback, so you need to stop players having bad games just because they don't play where they want, because it distracts from effectiveness and performance levels.
