Running boost was probably never factored into the design.

For the price, you're better off with a Noonan billet wet block. This Brodix is still, just cast(10k for a cast block, is ridiculous!). Best drag n drive small block based engine would be a Noonan LS Billet block.

Why don't anyone make a early block with cross bolted mains instead of using regular main caps. To me that is reverse engineering.

are you asking about a Chevy or a Chrysler? Are you saying early Chevys had cross bolt mains and that splaying the caps has been a failure??
