I picked up a 23 Wildtrac 4-Dr Hardtop, Cactus Gray, Modular Bumper, High Lux, 12k miles for 58k. Was a special order and had every option. Im sure the original owner paid over MSRP which was 69k. Been through all types of Jeeps and traded my TRD Tacoma because i needed bigger. Bronco drives great and looks super cool.
Just grabbed a new 2023 (sitting on the lot for almost 2 years), Badlands with SAS and Lux packages as well as trailer hitch and it was $12k below MSRP, so $64k to $52k plus $1k dealer BS and $3k tax, so $56 OTD. I'm in love with the thing after 4 days. It's Eruption Green and looks incredible. I'm OK with the inside, but the handles are hot trash and I prefer the grey dash vice the 2024 black dash. Being green and BL the inside sticking yellow is perfect for that match with my BL badge and compliments the green. I'm coming from a 2013 Rubicon and I love it. 2 Door all the way baby!
The Broncos definitely aren’t selling as well. I’m FINALLY seeing markdowns on everything from the less expensive trims up to the Raptor (20k off MSRP near me).
I really want to order a 25 Stroppe edition, but my 22 Bronco isn’t paid off or paid off enough yet 😢. My 22 is a Base and I ordered it so it wasn’t bad price wise (no mark up).
As a 24 big bend owner that order and took delivery in January and paid MSRP and negotiated all fees off, I agree with the interior take of the crazy colors on the other trims. The price is still holding on the retail side but now you can work discounts or incentives now. I think there is still some demand but people can't afford it.
I was on reserve for a Bronco on day 1, but ultimately cancelled because I HATED the brown interior of the WildTrack and refused to spend $60,000+ (the delays for delivery and cost kept rising, so I stopped paying attention what it finally sold for) for a new vehicle I hated the interior.
8:12 I noticed this when I was about to purchase my Black Diamond Sasquatch. Originally I was going for either Race Red or Hot Pepper. But as soon as I noticed the trim color in both was blue because It was way the trim dictates, I went with Velocity Blue.
If Ford priced their Broncos 5k below the price of a comparable Jeep Wrangler they would sell. I own a 2021 two door Bronco BigBend with Sasquatch and v6 and it’s awesome. Would never buy another Jeep Wrangler after owing this.
Went looking for a Bronco Sport for the GF yesterday. Back in 2022 we tried to get her one and their was an ADM of $4,000-$6,000. Now they are taking $5,000-$6,000 off MSRP. Had my Mach 1 at the Ford dealer last month. 30 Broncos on the lot PLUS 10 Bronco Raptors.
I don't mind Ford not offering the V8 for an offroad vehicle that is designed more for rock crawling. You can always purchase an aftermarket v8 and drop it into the Bronco, even though it is expensive. But I think that the interior colors being based off of trim package is particularly annoying. I don't mind replacing the meat and potatoes of a Bronco like the suspension and engine, but I don't want to redo the interior of an offroading vehicle. I will continue waiting for a few more years to see if Ford makes some more positive changes to the Bronco.
got both of my broncos at msrp back in 2022. my 2 door is a base amd my 4 door is a bd mid package. my base has 6800 miles in 2 years . i got the base to build and wheel it yes its on 37s my wifes drives the 4 door and the day she got it home she wanted it lifted its on 37 to.
With the updates to the 25's I feel like the used and new that have not moved are going to drop even farther. It's not that it's a bad vehicle, Ford just priced most of their consumers out of the market for them plus dealers marking them up was a disaster.
