As a previous owner of a 2021 CT5 350T, and current owner of a 2023 CT5 550T I can speak for both motors shown in this video. I think you miss spoke because the four-cylinder definitely does not have 300+hp Cadillacs website advertised it around 230 and change. That was my big determining factor to upgrade. The four-cylinder in the CT5 is extremely under powered. The CT5 is a heavy car. When you factor in the all wheel drive on top of the weight of the vehicle the motor definitely struggles. The 550T is definitely the better choice. still a good video not trying to throw any shade. The torque specs for the CT4 are also a tad off :) A fun fact too, the 550T and 350T stand for the Torque specs in newton meters!
I had a 2021 CT5 Sport now have a 2022 V this car ruined me I was never into luxury vehicles. But can’t go back now. And what you stated all facts I was going to write the same but you said it already.
It’s not all about the horse power , The TwinTurbo V6 runs extremely smooth compared to the four-cylinder and it doesn’t sound like a Chevy cobalt. it’s still phenomenal vehicle but I don’t know why they would put a four-cylinder in such a heavy car. I understand for fuel efficiency, but it just takes away so much from the car.
If I Had My Choice Between The CT4 & CT5 , I Would Take The CT4 Because The CT4 Has More Of The CTS Look . But The CT5 Is Nice . So Both Caddies Look Nice , So I Will Give Them Both A Thumbs Up & This Is Coming From A Cadillac Owner 👍👍 ( Great Job On The 🎥 👍)
I got me a CT5 blackwing 2022 and don’t regret it, White and white and black interior. Still go outside and shocked I have my car. I’ve come a long way.
Nice detailed video. I special ordered a CT5 550T with most of the bells and whistles back in Oct. '22. I finally got notified by the dealer that it should arrive April 25. I'M SO EXCITED, I can hardly stand it. My kids and I went out and test drove a CT5 350T on Fathers Day, 2020. I knew at that point, a CT5 would be in my future. Fast forward - it's almost here.
Premium Luxury vs premium luxury makes sense to me if you are comparing ct4 vs ct5. Premium luxury vs luxury makes sense if you are comparing level in one model (ct4 only or ct5 only). This is just too much apples and oranges the way it's done here. Thanks for the effort anyway!
You can also get Carbon fiber in the CT4 and CT5 without the V package there a trim above luxury called the sports trim, that offers carbon fiber and shifters
I like the way you compared them in detail. Not having seen a CT-4 up close, the one question I have is what is the horizontal piece on the headlight? I see it's not an LED thing like I'd guess it would be by the pictures. So what is it? Just a white or clear horizontal jagged accent?
I havent see any dealers in the NY/NJ metro area carrying the CT5 550T...everyone either has the 350T or the V Series...anyone looking for the 550T will probably have to special order
Ok, so I just purchased a 23'CT4 BW... ive watched just about EVERY youtube video review. Within one day, i can identify a few things NOBODY has covered yet, the negatives. 1) the glare from the front dash and rear into the windshield glass is obnoxious. 2) while using the wireless charging pad, its extremely difficult to reach in and grab it out with the shifter in the way, the pad is too short height-wise. 3) too many buttons for drive modes and traction mode, lose track of which mode youre in then trying to get back to "normal" mode is distracting while trying to keep driving.
