NEW CAKE TRICK! | Simple GEOMETRIC Sugar Decorations | No Isomalt! | Marbled Fondant 

In this cake decorating tutorial I show you how you can make geometric sugar cake decorations with no isomalt! I also show you how to make the marble fondant that I covered the cake is with. This technique can be done with any shape you like as long as you have metal cookie cutters. It is really that simple!

Sugar Decoration Recipe:
1/3 C granulated sugar
20 grams purified water
1 TBS clear corn syrup
Mix all together in a heavy bottom sauce pan. let it come to a low boil until it reaches 300°. Remove from heat and allow bubbles to subside. May take just a minute. Pour into coated metal cutters on a Silicone mat on a cookie tray and allow to cool. Be very careful as this can cause severe burns if it touches your skin. Gently remove cooled peices. Use a creme Brule torch to remove bubbles and cloudiness. Spray with confectioners glaze to seal.
