It’s actually a decently speced car with comfort oriented suspension and good space on offer. People looking for comfort and not performance will be happy with it.
I drive the 2023 module and have no regrets. I think is a beautiful car. The 18 inch wheels could have been 19 inch or 20 which add to its looks. But I love it and bought it over a RAV4 and CRV when I had the money to buy either of them. I dont keep new cars more than 3 years 4 years the most so the argument about durability and all the works do not apply to me. I love this car.
It might be a flop in Uzbekistan but in some countries like indonesia. The 530 is one of the best selling cars in the market today. Like thrust me, it's everywhere. You could find these things roaming the indonesian streets everyday
In indonesia, the main problem of this car is acceleration and fuel consumption.. but it payed of by its price, its material quality, and its comfort, and its huge space. Idk what they offer outside of indonesia..
I have drove my sister-in-law 2022 model and compared it to my 2015 3.6L V6 Chevrolet Traverse. I have to say, it has the most rubbish transmission ever. on the traffic signal, you push the accelerator and noting happen. Then suddely, the car rush like it is sling shot. The transmission is noisey and lack feedback/response. I was going over small bridge, pressed the accelerator. The RPM didn’t even move. They made a crime by throwing a 1.5Ltr engine in this large brick. But his is what to expect from chinese car that is rebadged. It should at least have a 2 litter.
Try driving it in sports mode and make sure you use high octane gas. CVT transmission are usually noisy too. But I agree the the acceleration is a bit slow. As it relates to Chinese cars there are excellent ones where people are leaving buying them over Audi, Mercedenz Benz and Lexus. Check you the UNI-T Elite models and some CS Series. Every car manufacturer make cars that are not so good even European Cars. I owned a Range Rover Evoque and it was plagued with problems from the start.
idk from what is observe, this car's MG hector model is the best and uses higher quality build, and technology is also good. and it comes is a powerful diesel and manual and at transmissions
I have a 2021 model and it is the worst car that has ever been made. It's fuel consumption is double or even triple the consumption of V8. The word "dynamic" is not in the dictionary of this car. Its acceleration is unbearable at all. All the time back cars horn at me when the traffic light is green. Don't recommend it even for free
Wrong, my Wuling Almaz (same car as Chevy Captiva and MG Hector) got 11-12s 0 to 100 km/h... Its nice material and I have run 40k km for 3 years. There's bit electrical problem here there, but a reset by unplugging the battery solve it... Its not the most fun to drive car, but surely comfortable. Steering is very light but not accurate. Well worth the price. Its currently top selling med suv in Indonesia, sometimes outselling CRV
@@snggarageeng there are some improvement in this new version such as features and safety, but for engine the old captive has more powerful with turbo diesel, handling also old one better as they have auto levelling suspension. The new captiva/Wuling Almaz/MG Hector/Baojun 530 is more like a car with lots of gadget 😁, and to some user that's a plus...
That "electrical problem" shouldn't be taken lightly. Remember the old GM with failed ignition switch problems? Yeah, that killed 124 people! "Here and there" is just ignorance to peoples life. You should ask your dealer about the problem. Link for the problem : en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Motors_ignition_switch_recalls#Public_disclosure_of_the_problem
@@arbalestt4590 thanks for the information, it's new to me this case. Well, one issue like that not stopping GM anyway even today to keep producing better and safer cars? I believe similar kind of problem also happen with other brand that's why there's many recall... The problem that I talked about is not major, eg headunit freeze (a reboot should fix it), electric fan relay problem which they already fix by changing the relay brand etc... Almost 3 years have the car now and its quite please with the value for money...
