New Car + Deep LIFE UPDATE 

On the real, I wear black because as a water sign, I'm not trying to take on other people's energy and emotions. Intensity of emotion is draining and require more naps during the day.

We are literally in the same space. I’ve been having to tell myself that “I deserve for good things to happen to me and I deserve to have good things”. It’s so hard

This one hit hard, because same. I’ve suffered extreme loss all my life and just really understood how that’s influenced my hyper independence, success through survival, detachment, etc. After YEARS of hitting goals and hard work I bought my first Benz for my bday last summer. Of course I tortured myself for months trying to decide if it was safe to pull the trigger on the purchase. I realize I do this with everything big, no matter how well I’m doing. I’d suggest reading (or downloading on Audible) The Untethered Soul and You Are A Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness. The latter isn’t just about self doubt. It’s about getting out of your head when you know the Universe will bend to your will if you ask. Great job on everything btw❤

I struggle with this as well to point I self sabotage with that mindset of questioning if I’m ready or deserving of an opportunity or blessing. I never thought of a fear of loss, but I love this outlook you expressed. It’s definitely a challenge but I’m trying my best to break out of this fear habit. Omg I have this same fear of loss and I didn’t decorate either. I decided I was going to put up family pictures on the wall. I also have issues with developing deep relationships. I’m working on that too.

One thing I love about Bri is her transparency ❤ i think the idea of losing is something I am struggling with currently like I grew up in a single parent household as well and its like I'm scared to form a deep connection with people because I'm not sure if they are going to stay to I end up at some point distancing myself and congrats on getting a new car 🎉🎉

I also struggle with not being able to be emotionally available. I was always considered the strong one of almost group including family. I was always expected to be strong so I would hide how I was feeling with everyone. I was in a 3 year relationship and It was very surface level. I am 30 and I just recently realized this during therapy. Childhood trauma is mind blowing tbh

One thing I’ve been really struggling with is the lost of relationships. What you said regarding being a surface level friend really resonates with me. It gets pretty lonely without having many people I can call or hangout with. This is hard to express because this isn’t something that is necessarily life or death, so I just try and push past the feeling. But it keeps coming up. And idk what to do. You damn sure deserve it. I have been a licensed driver 5 years and I have had 3 brand new cars with no miles and I told myself from the beginning I would never deal with mechanics and a car breaking down. I have never lost a car and I worked my way up to a 2022 Toyota Highlander and that’s my last car for a long while but we need to stop telling ourselves we aren’t worthy!! We are worthy of all good things. ❤❤❤

This is soo much me! So many things you said sounds like my life. I moved around a lot as a child and I realized just by you saying this that I move a lot as an adult. I don’t decorate fully and really love decorations but I think it’s because of what you said! My favorite color is black, it’s 80 degrees today and have on a black Tshirt and black pants! Love black! I can go on and on.. the new truck I just bought, I honestly felt guilty about it after getting it as if I didn’t deserve it but worked hard to get to this point in my life! Thank you for sharing oh and I also procrastinate and have ADHD. I have never taken medication but let me tell you, I’m late to almost everything!

Woooow we have sooo much in common! I too moved around a lot as a kid. Then my relationships were affected - have a hard time keeping friendships or getting close to people. I’ve lost my second apartment after 3 years of living in my dream city. Was engaged and that broke apart. Now I’ve been going to therapy to try to get to the root of all this loss cycle. I’m learning that finding safety and trust within myself helps me to not create a scarcity or fear of loss mindset. I really love these vlogs and vulnerability. And congrats on the new car!! "I deserve all the good things coming my way." I spent most of my life struggling and counting pennies. The last few years has had me accomplish all my dreams and then some! But learning how to make the mental shift from surviving to thriving and acceptance have been my hurdles. That's where therapy comes in. lol. The fear of loss is huge for me. And ADHD symptoms certainly don't help. Hyperfocus on loss leads to emotional overwhelm and complete shutdown... Which ends up just making everything worse. I've really been focusing on having an abundance mindset and focusing on self love. I deserve to enjoy the experiences + things that I've worked hard to get. And I'm a big loverboy. But a friendly trip 🍄helped me find the understanding that we need to love ourselves as much as we love others. We need and deserve the same amount of care and attention that we want to give to someone else. And who better than ourselves to give us what we need?

I also have a fear of loss and didn't realize it until you said something. I self-sabotage a lot and I even feel like God shows me things, but I am too much in my head to accept it.

you have the seat belt in the lower position, raise it up, the closer the neck it sits the safer it is, if you have it too low then the risk is that it slides off your shoulder during an accident, and then it can hurt you instead
