What do you think about Unity's action. How they suddenly decided to change the rules and introduce a "success tax".

Wow, your pixelart is so impressive! It's so detailed! I'm just starting out trying to draw pixelart and i'm having real difficulties trying to figure out what a good dimension would be. Would you mind sharing how big your canvas for this character was?

its like 200 pixels tall but i would recommend doing a smaller size. This took me very long to do. Like 30hrs+

How are your traditional/digital(but not pixl) art? Like, could you do this in another style of drawing? Did knowing how to draw help a lot in your pixel art?

I got good at traditional art before learning how to do pixel art. If you do tiny 16x16 sprites I don't think you need to be good at traditional. However doing larger sprites such as these it helps.

How long have you studied pixel art and unity?

I started drawing as a kid and got good at traditional art. I liked pen and paper outline style art like manga. It was easy for me to learn pixel art which took a few months but I'm still getting better at it to this day. You never stop learning. Unity took me like a year just to learn all the functionality and programming took me a few years to learn. Then game architecture within Unity took years too. So total it took like 5 years to learn how to make a decent game in Unity as a solo dev. It was daunting at times but I pushed through with my passion to make a game come to life. The Last Phoenix will be my first big solo project, lease support it

@@PeterMilko I totally understand, I started to learn unity 2 years ago (now I'm learning the optimization and the things that make your code cleaner) as a pixel artist (untill I found your tutorials) I was trash. Studying is the way 😄, but with new unity pricing system everyone started to look at other game engines and Idk what to do now...
