Today I take a look at the new Rocket Collection from Charlotte Tilbury. The collection includes a new star-print makeup bag and nude-pink + berry-red Rock Lips lipsticks encased in limited collector's edition star-print tubes!
I try on both lipsticks and I also do a side by side comparison to the original Pillow Talk shade. Is Rocket Girl just repackaged Pillow Talk???

Brown girl here. Love Ready for Lust. Glitter particles virtually unnoticeable. Beautiful berry red shade. Rocket Girl is a nice neutral shade on my lips. A little darker than Pillow Talk. Doesn’t wash me out.

Thank you for the side by side! Rocket Girl definitely looks a tiny bit darker and a tiny bit pinker to me. I like Pillow Talk a lot but always wish it was a little darker so I think Rocket Girl is perfect for me. I agree with you that it’s fun to have the special packaging too❤ Great review!

Thanks so much. I love all things Charlotte Tilbury but I really try to be honest. I have no regrets purchasing the lipstick, but for this on a budget who already have Pillow Talk, it may not be worth it. Thanks for your insight and for watching! 😘

Thank you so much for your video, you saved me from buying rocket girl. I already own pillow talk which i don't use often because it is not really flattering for me. It pulls into an orangey beige on my lips. I looove the red shade though.

I have pillow talk and don't wear it because it turns orange on me. Rocket Girl, with it's cooler undertone, does not turn orange. For me, it's the cool/neutral underoned skin version of pillow talk. A winner for me, in comparison. Its also similar in color to Very Victoria... if VV was more pink vs. taupe.

Interesting, I may try Rocket Girl because I do love Pillow Talk and sometimes would prefer exactly same shade but little darker, so I think Rocket Girl is it❤ thanks a lot!

Someone told me there is a different undertone. I can’t see it, but those aren’t things I notice. Also, you may want to wait a few days. Black Friday sales are coming ;)

The makeup bag is tacky and juvenile. Looks like something from the 80's. Seriously, if you were going to a formal evening event, you would not take that makeup bag with you as your clutch. It is too loud, tacky and you would be the laugh stock at your event. 🤨 Are the lipstick tubes refillable? If they are, then they would be nice to order one because you could then keep the pretty tube and reuse it again with another CT refillable lipstick. Rocket Girl looks exactly like Pillow Talk. Is Ready for Lust gritty since it has glitter?

I don’t think it’s tacky and juvenile but everyone is welcome to their own opinion. I agree it is very similar to Pillow Talk. As far as the tubes as concerned, I tried looking online to see if they are refillable and didn’t see that they were. They look just like the Hot Lips 2 though, which are refillable so they may be. I sent them the question and waiting for a response.
