@@ianzen It is his skull because Illidan killed Gul'dan, but in Hearthstone there are characters that are normally dead - just assume that in HS they're here before they died.

@@Mektoor forgive me if the lore was retconned (havent kept up with WOW lore) but actually in warcraft 3, illidan steals/destroys the skull of gul'dan from the burning legion. Gul'dan was already long killed during the events of warcraft 2(by the horde/demons in the tomb of sargeras)

It does have a good AoE spell for 5 mana, and good healing, though. Those are things Rogue is missing, and they are among the biggest factors that prevent Rogue from having good control decks. I think Demon Hunter control decks might be viable (in addition to tempo decks), but we'll have to wait and see.

I could see them incorporating a few of the professions from WoW into cards, or a reworked quest mechanic to reflect class halls or artifact power, maybe something reflect BFA (maybe corruption or HoA), but not brand new classes.

It is like a hybrid of Rogue and Warlock Has weapon flavour of rogue and the efficient removal but few taunts and limited defensive options as they can't kill big minions without a combination of cards or using their face. Has Zooy minions with efficient card draw and demons, it even has disruption in Mana Burn.

Raging Felscreamer allows for Illadin to be played turn 5 or at 5 mana which would really benefit illadin as it probably 1 mana too expensive being a combo card

Baku/Justicar we don't know (but the guess is easy to make), Genn won't do anything

there was interview questions about it. Genn and baku still do what their card text says. Genn makes hero cost 1 and since its already one it does nothing. Baku upgrades your hero power but it'll work significantly worse then other classes since you wont have a two mana upgraded hero power to fill in turn two and such

Warcraft has what many call Manticores and call them Wyverns, which is a bipedal wingless dragon, and you’re arguing about their pronunciation differing from the French? Seems the Outcast mechanic can really mess up though if in the mulligan you draw an 8 or 9 cost card which ends up on the left of your hand. To utilize the Outcast mechanic you'd then be forced to play the Outcast cards on the turn you draw them (assuming you have the mana to do so).

I mean logically speaking a hand with only one card will have that card be both the leftmost *and* rightmost card in said hand. Knowing HS spaghetti code this will cause Outcast to trigger twice LUL. JK, but yes, this mechanic does really reward hand-dumping and topdecking.

The combo I’m seeing here is the new third spell costs 0 legendary along with three damage juggles, 0 cost spells, and wide board damage. On an empty board, if the new legend survives one turn, you can do SUBSTANTIAL face damage.

Restless mummy is still broken af and they won't ever change it. Dealing 6 damage to minions for 4 mana with the option of killing 2 is just insane. Even Zilliax isn't close to that power level at 5 mana. Its literally a budget Siamat for less and you can run 2 not 1.

In wow they are basically a rogue with magic that likes to fight demons alot

I don't think so, they seem hyper aggro. Playing a weak ooze to get rid of a 1/1 weapon(after they attacked with it) is pretty weak.

Warglaives of Azzinoth should be a legendary weapon, and Il'd rather have the cleave effect on this one rather than on the non legendary one.

So this guy has great control, insane aggro, heals, amazing card-draw, weapons, rushers, tokens, silence and cycle cards... like is there any aspect of the game that this class doesn't excel at? At this point this class's identity is the color green.

As far as we can tell? No buffs, no hard removal, no really big minions. Face Hunter, basically.

@@selectivepontification8766 I hope the aggro side of this deck fails and the control side is only slightly too strong, because I still have trauma from Face Hunter and that was like more than half a decade ago.
