New Class: Necromancer - Conquest of Azeroth | Ascension WoW 

Now we're talking! EDIT: Just finished watching the video. Goodness, this is 100% exactly what I've always been hoping Blizzard would do for their own Necromancer class, if they ever got around to it. The Death, Rime and Animation 3-spec idea you all did - perfect. Can't wait to play this.

All that money and team size, and these guys create the necromancer class we've all been waiting and dreaming about with no where near the budget, or team size you have.. you guys really have given up, haven't you? This looks incredible! Great job, guys! Absolutely no notes! It's perfect!

I have to say i have been playing the necro class on the PTR for a bit now, i just love it you guys made a necromancer class that his unique proving that it can be its own thing and has a Unholy DK and Demo Warlock player i am thankfull and proud to say that your work is near perfection wich also goes for all your other classes, even the classless servers are just incredible

Rime is such a cool spec. All about build up and sustaining your built up buffs to massively increase ypur dps. One of my favorite specs.

where can I get that transmog set he is wearing in the thumbnail and intro of the video, I tried asking around in the discord but could not find an answer.

Compared to many classes right now it's kind of underscaled but the kit itself feels fun.

Is this going to be similar to the summoner necromancer from Diablo 2? I have always wanted an MMORPG to have a class similar to that, probably not amazing in PvP, but absolutely awesome and fun in PvE. Regardless, I am hyped for this class and it will definitely be the one I play when this comes out. You folks are doing really great work and I want you to know that I am thankful there is a team trying new things and coming up with cool and new ideas for classes. It is this type of imaginative stuff that makes the game all the better, new content and trying out new things will always be the best thing to do for a game to keep it interesting. Looking forward to when CoA comes out, please do not rush anything and take your time.

I would like to see a new *_Mounted-Dragoon_* class with default Brown Chocobo Mount that plays like a (Melee &/or Ranged) Hunter: With "Stances or Forms" that allow you to change Mount Forms that allow you to specialize further into (1) Tanking ("White" or "Silver" Chocobo), (2) Healing with either "Green" Nature Heals & spells OR "Gold"/"Yellow" Holy Heals & spells, (3) Added Magical DPS Abilities with "Red" (Fire), "Blue" (Frost), "Black" (Shadow), "Purple" (Arcane). Altho, I think there should be a Cooldown & Cast-time to change between Specialized-Forms: Like, at least one-second to ten-second cast-time (to prevent accidental changes). And some kind of cooldown (that can be lowered with talents). Like, for example, a "Magic Spec" might be able to instantly change between Red, Blue, Black, & Purple with no cooldown (making a "Stance Dance" Caster Class), while they could NOT change into Tank or Healing forms repeatedly & instantly. And actually, this idea would be really cool because you could make a "Stance Dancing" Healing Class as well with "Green" & "Yellow" forms: Like, having "Yellow" Form spells costing Mana, but generating Nature Runes where you have to change to "Green" Form to use up your Nature Runes into Nature Heals ? Same deal with Magic Spec: Fire & Frost cost Mana but generate Runes that can be used for Shadow & Arcane spells ? There's actually different ways to implement this idea: It can be as simple as generating Generic Runes: Or, it can be a more complex system that generates specific types of Runes: Like, a "ShadowFlame" system where Fire spells cost "Red Energy" but generate Shadow Runes that, when used, award "Blue Energy" for Frost spells that generate Arcane Runes that (when used) generate more "Red Energy" again for more Fire spells ? Many different systems & play-styles that can be developed off this idea: Something to think about ? And to state the obvious, it's not "Stance Dancing" if you don't restrict Spells & Abilities to their appropriate Forms. Also, the "Physical" Talent Tree could double to offer different paths to either allow you to continue into a Physical DPS specialization OR to specialize in Tanking: Kinda like the Feral Tree allows you to either get better at Cat DPS or Bear Tanking. Overall, kinda a crazy Class idea that maybe, in retrospec, should be divided up into TWO or THREE different classes ? Altho, I do really like the idea of "Stance Dancing" Healers & Mages, but maybe that should be a separate Class ? Altho, I do not know what the Name or Concept would be ? ...Maybe "Sorceror" for Fire/Frost/Shadow/Arcane dancing ? Altho, conceptually, I am not sure what you would call a Healer that has both Holy _AND_ Nature magic ??? Hence, the (Mounted) *_Dragoon_* Class that gains special powers & abilities depending on what kind (color) of *_Chocobo Mount_* (Form) that they're currently using ? ...Conceptually, that's one of the only ways that I can see having an excuse for a Class to be able to have both Holy _AND_ Nature magic ???

The only thing I missed when transferring from Everquest to Warcraft was the Necromancer. Looks like they just mashed up an affliction lock with an Unholy DK. Necromancers are the unquestioned kings of DoT. No other class should be even matching their DoT damage. Necros should also have strong pets as that is their bag, summoning dead folks. Either focus on a single strong pet, or many weaker ones. Pallies obviously get the class advantage against them. Necros have to make a deal with the darkside to get mana. That means losing a small amount of HP per tick to gain mana regen per tick. Different than a warlock's Lifetap/Drain life. Lifetap would actually be an attack to leech HP for healing while doing damage. A Nuke/Heal. Obviously squishy as a pure caster, they can sacrifice pets for benefits like armor to absorb a burst attack or increase healing rate and amount. Hopefully they get it right.

Okay so... this... I think I want to reinstall and play this... I'm absolute trash on A52 server with trying to craft my own build, I know. I'm probably just a trash player in general... but this... this looks like a ton of fun. I've always loved Necromancer type classes, and I really do wanna try this.

Animation spec: Revert the last patch, as it completly breaks the summons. Very low damage and cant tank mobs now.

If it doesn't come from runes, don't call it runic power. Also I feel like you definitely could have figured out how to make a healer or even tank from Necromancer.

from one full stack private server dev to another ... yall at ascension put in more work and produce so much more, than the 2 man classic sod team remaking 10 wotlk spells in lua every 2 months. if you flag a npc you summon as unclickable and have it replicate a spell or something dynamic, you have yourself a retail level talent like druid trees or divine image, or fire mage phoniex in the next cave expansion

I have wanted this class in WOW since it's release, it feels abit strange to release it at a time when WOW is sorta falling apart in it's storytelling and the height and peak of what WOW was once before crumbling under it's own rehashing and bad choices and retcons, As much as i always love the Necromancy classes in any RPG i feel like WOW missed this by a mile

While this class sounds cool. I played a warsong gulch today and there must have been 40 pets on the field. It kind of ruins pvp.
