To the guy in white shirt, I want to let you know that enlightenment is not an internal thing but an eternal thing. Enlightenment happens when you are above all senses, perceptions, intelligence and whatever creates a human identity and the realisation that happens are the understanding of the nature of reality which is true for all living beings. Enlightenment is a thing that no one can understand fully until you have achieved it.

According to how I was taught only truly enlightened people can see and know if the other another person is enlightened. Their perception is on another level. Buddha was just the first enlightened person in this cycle.

An enlightened person in my opinion, is not somone who runs away from society and the problems of today (unless their intuition leads them to do so) but for most of us, it’s about facing the challenges of life with mindfulness that we cultivate through meditation, yoga, prayer ect. which leads to higher awareness of yourself and those around you allowing you to act more in harmony in a way that most benefits everyone. I think we also often get stuck reading so much about enlightenment that procrastinate about doing the actual work. From my experience this just leads to more anxiety and you can’t truly understand how freeing this process is by knowledge alone, it’s a deeply person experience and transformation. It’s more important to use a practice that suits you, and not to get stuck in the “right way” because there is no one right way. As long as we have the intention, whatever practice we choose will bear fruit eventually

Nobody said u have to go become monk to learn the teaching of Buddha. U can take some of the teaching and use it in ur life. In the end of the day it's about letting things go that's unhealthy for mind and help people in need. People think going into monk state is to become a shut in no it's learning discipline u can still go out meet people do things as long as u do healthily. Example medicine is a drug , it just changes to {(medicine /drug) vise versa}when and how much amount u take/use.

It is easy to see how Karma works. Lets say you have a very rich family they have everything but they might not have happiness inside their house May be someone is sick no money can cure the sick person, and inside the house there are fights. They had done some good Karma in their past life by giving to people who were poor, but they have done some bad karma too, so they have no peace in the family there is a very sick person where money can not make him healthy. Then there is a poor family they have nothing but the family is very happy, they are healthy and they live with what they have that means they have done lot of good karma but have not given or taken care of the poor This is an example of how karma works.

S Correction Siddhartha Gauatama's father King Sudadhana used to follow both shamanic and brahmanic tradition.. There was no Hinduism at the time of Buddha. There were two kinds of people in spiritual world in the east 1, Brahmins - Those who followed vedyanta philosophy and.perform rituals 2, Shramins - Those who followed tyaag marga meaning gave up everything and perform deep samadhi( extreme meditation) Shakyamuni Gautama Buddha followed Shramanic tradition. He was one of the Shramins not the Hindu Brahmin.

Only Hinduism makes this claim about the Buddha... after the Buddha had existed. No Buddhists accepts this claim as it doesn't exists in Buddhism at all.

Where is the evidence? There are 84,000 sutras and three scared holy books. There was not one sutra or statement it says Shakyamuni was reincarnation of Hindu God. Shakyamuni himself stated he is not God or any form of god in Dona sutta.

Do take my interpretation with a great amount of salt because I am no scholar and practitioner. In "my point of view": _ Buddha saw sufferings and he wanted to end sufferings. _ Buddha is a human. He never claimed to be beyond human. People those who admired and came to study his philosophy called him the one who had achieved enlightenment, the awakened one, the great teacher. He also did not want to make a cult or to have people worshiping him because he considered that to be irrelevant. Worshiping him does not enlighten you. In the way I understood his teaching, only you can save yourself, only you can get yourself out of sufferings. He is not God or Supreme Being. He can not give you salvation from your sufferings, only you can do that. Therefore, you should work on your salvation. This is also why you can practise Buddha's teaching regardless of what religion you are. You need not renounce your faith to be a Buddhist. In fact, you don't even need to be a Buddhist to practise his teachings and achieve enlightenment. Faith has always been as irrelevant to his teachings as an eating habit or way of thinking. _ Buddha did not demonstrate a miracle or supernatural power. Hence, I believe we should not look at Buddhism in that angle where the enlightened ones developed some sort of spiritual eyes that enhance their perception that transcended their human's senses. _ What I could see from Buddha's teaching is that nothing is the same including human's personalities. Just as how you do not know how to regulate your behaviours and emotions when you were young but later grew up and learned to not throw a tantrum when you couldn't get a toy you want. Your personalities too will change. _ Furthermore, I could see that Buddha understood that there is a connection between your mind and your body. It is not a magical connection if that's what you think. It's more like your way of thinking will affect how to react to external stimuli and affect your internal body. If you are easy to get angry by the smallest things, in those fits of anger your heart will beat faster and strain it, weakening it. When you are overthinking, self-loathing, depressed, you will likely adopt bad living habits like smoking, drinking, or using other stimulants to deal with stresses. Moreover, we just discovered lately that the living environment and the stimuli you received will change you in a genetic level where certain genes will be activated or deactivated causing a feedback loop between your gene and your behaviours (I didn't study deeply into this so you can treat this as hearsay if you want OR you can do your own research to see if this is real). The only way to stop this is with your mind, your thinking. By adopting a healthy way of thinking, you will remove yourself from bad environment, from bad habits, and improve your reaction to stimuli. _ Karma is not destiny. Buddha did not use Karma to say that a person who is ill, who is orphaned, who is handicapped to be those who did wrong things in the past or in their previous lives. That's not how Buddha want to use that word. What Buddha wants to convey is that there are cause and effect. By doing things that harm others, you create a world that will harm others in the future. When Buddha taught that the you of present is the result of the you in the past, you can interpret that because you were lazy and didn't brush your teeth when you were young, you at the present are plagued with bad teeth. And what you are thinking right now in the present show the lifestyle that you will adopt and how that lifestyle will affect you mentally and physically in the future. _ Buddha understood human nature. He also understood that you can not change instantly but have to try and adjust slowly. Hence, you don't need to agree and change completely according to his teaching. The importance is that you see that this certain teachings could help improve your life and you decided to do so, and when you get the result, you have felt better. As with previous interpretation, his teachings will do you no good if you yourself do not see that it makes you live better. This thing that is a personal bias, a subjective perception, is in fact very important because your own perception dictates a large part of how you think and feel. Furthermore, when you see that one of his teachings truly could improve your life, you will want to try out the other teachings, seeking to adopt his teaching to your life in a way that suit your situation. In short, you do what you find is needed. _ Many branches of Buddhism evolved into what they are today because many people tried to adopt Buddha's teaching to their situation, to their culture, to their environment. It has its merit in allowing Buddhism to reach more people while keeping some of its core principle in achieving salvation through detachment from dissatisfaction. However, branching out the core teachings and interpreting the core teachings to suit one's situation also had its demerit because it can lose its original meanings. Considering that this is a possibility, I will not feel it strange that you will encounter some of them in your life. _ In my case, I see that the best approach to understand Buddhism and Buddha's teachings is to approach it with a sense of physical reality where I filter elements of supernatural and interpret his teachings as a path to guide and change your way of thinking. _ The largest fact I could see from his teachings is that we human created our own sufferings and caused sufferings to others too. That is why he wanted to change your behaviours, your thinkings, your perception and wanted you to adopt a healthier thinking, lifestyles to both help yourself and help people around you. He wanted you to slowly understand that living a lifestyle and adopt a way of thinking that do not cause harm to other is a good thing, and he wanted you to slowly adopt this knowledge and practise it. _ If you want to interpret Buddha's original teachings, I firmly believe that the best way is to look at his purpose for teaching his way and interpret from there. His purpose is "he saw sufferings, he found a way to end it, and he wanted to end all sufferings".

@@stayspiritual Jesus ( peace be upon him) never in claimed in bible that he was God or worship me.he always prayed to someone else, when people asked him when the day of judgement .he said ,he don't know ,its only only known To the God in the heaven, how can a God prays to someone, walk like us,talk like us,even he paid the tax,and he eats, drinks,he spoken mainly in aramic langauge ,in that langauge he used to call his God 'Allaha' .in your Gospel of john chapter 16 verse 12-14 Jesus ( peace be upon him) says "there shall a man come,he will not speak himself, but he shall glorify me"he talked about the last and final prophet Muhammed (saw) Before ISA (as) Allah sent Adam (as),ibraham (as) yusuf(as) davud(as) Moses(as) etc... Allah preserved the body of Fir'aun who tried to kill Musa (as) you can see his body ,that it doesn't turned into dust,it still remains,Allah said it through Quran "i will preserve his body as a sign"and the people found that body only in 1898 ,Allah said this is a sign i left for who comes after them. Jesus ( peace be upon him) also a one of the powerful prophet of Allah, every prophets had done miracles with the permission of Allah.if you research sincerely you will have proofs for everything,Allah given prophets to a book, for Jesus ( peace be upon him) and his companions its 'ingeel' ,but Quran Allah sent it down as a universal book to make you aware of what happened in the time of every prophets and the knowledge of before you born, after you born, after your death even the miracles of this world before science found it Allah told us through Quran,Do researches find truth brothers.
