the 29 buddhas are the kind of buddhas that are able to teach the rest of the people (start a world religion) and help the normal folks reach nirvana. There are infinite other buddhas in Theravada that did not or were not able to teach the knowledge they had. Even the type of Buddhas are different, including Bodhisattvas in Mahayana

Jainism did not start from Hinduism. Infact jain's are the first sraman dharshan to come out of India. It is way older than what u now call as Hinduism. It is a religion that is in exact opposite of bhraman philosophy. U can find the name of the first Jain thirthangar Rishabnath mentioned in the rig veda with great praise, which means he must have been alive around years before the creation of rig veda. I dont know from where u got this Idea that everything started from Hinduism.

@@nikhilkrishnan9, Hinduism is nothing but name others gave to cultures across Indus river. Many Hindus who believe Sativic food which I think is the same as Jain food. So, I think they were all different types of practices in this region. Some of those practices were named or their names were preserved through their strong culture and efforts. Rest lost some of their practices due to all the invasions. People who wrote history lumped them as Hinduism, which is essentially the culture of the land. This is why many call subcontinent religions under the same umbrella. And that umbrella happens to be named as Hinduism after Indus river by those invaders. This is only my conclusion with limited knowledge. I also think many of Jain practices were core practices of the entire country when our subcontinent was prosperous. Many were later forced to change to survive. What I want to say is do not separate Jainism from Hinduism when many Hindus themselves believe in Jain principles. I might be wrong in few places, please correct me.

This religious fight shows that their will be no peace until we agree that no religion is better than another. Almost all religions try to spread the idea to love yourself and others.

Every thing has similarities and differences, but it doesn’t mean they are the same, but even though they are not the same you shouldn’t complain that they are different. Doesn’t mean a religion is better because it is different

Buddha never told he was the avater of lord vishnu.. and he never told he is god. He is human like us... The Buddha rejected many things in Hinduism. Like cast system and gods.. i think some Hindus wanted to stop spreading Buddhism in India.. Thats why hindus such kind of stories have been socialized in india

@@nirbhay7724 Bihar is a part of India. India and Nepal are not Buddhist countries today. But in Sri Lanka Buddhism is the main religion for over 2300 years. There is a rule If someone wants to be president in Sri Lanka he must be Buddhist.
