In this video, we unbox my first order of new comic books from Discount Comic Book Service (DCBS), found online at dcbservice.com and on Twitter as @DCBService.
Yes, it’s true, the company I work for is shuttering its retail store. So, by the end of the year, DotCom Comics will be no more. With that in mind, I switched over my comic book purchasing to DCBS, given that the next-nearest comic book store to my home is a two-hour drive. Each way!In this video, we unpack all of my September comic books. Or, at least the ones solicited for release in September that actually came out before the end of the month. Nearly 25 percent of the 37 books I ordered missed their announced publishing date. But that’s not DCBS’ fault. But what did I think of DCBS’ packaging, shipping, and customer service? Well, you’ll have to watch the video to find out.
