Got one, ergonomics on the Terrasaur are great and MUCH better if you slip a bit of street bike inner tube over the handle (tip: get the piece of inner tube wet with some rubbing alcohol first, well slip on easier), adds a little cushiness and is *very* grippy. Sheath is a work in progress and that *is* a Mora ripoff. Retention is with a couple of nubs on the inside of the sheath that fit in the dimple in the handle. Apparently they at first had complaints that it was too difficult to get the knife out. It remains very awkward to get the knife out of the provided sheath but retention is now not very good at all, nubs don't grip it well enough now. Ditched the sheath, looks great in a leather sheath that came with my Kizlyar Yeti but am using a sheath i made myself for it (with the ranger band handle treatment, it rode much higher in the Condor sheath with a good friction fit and made the thumb ramp actually functional which was cool but left a couple of extra inches in length to the sheath and i didn't want to cut it). Didn't come very sharp, just barely 'utility' sharp. My copy appears to have an ever so slight hollow grind and wasn't a really beautiful, perfectly even grind so went with a secondary microbevel rather than put all that work into a true scandi. Having difficulty getting it anywhere near as sharp as my Ka-Bar and i've gotten pretty good at putting fine edges on blades. There's a problem nobody's talking about - the heat treat, it may not have one. What notes i could find on it, Condor says Rockwell between 50 and 55; that's quite a spread and pretty low for 1095 (ESEE says 56-58 and Ka-Bar says 57-59 for theirs, can't find anything on the Mora Garberg beyond a note about 'high hardness'). Have suspicions that even that '50-55' may be just a ballpark. Accidentally dropped the knife about 1.5 feet, came down tip first. Didn't break. Didn't bend. It did mushroom. Seen that in lead bullets but can't say i've ever seen that in a knife before. The Terrasaur is a decent beater utility knife but you can find those at a gas station for less and with better fit and finish and decent sheath at that. But if you've got a soft spot in your heart for mongrel puppy dogs, the Terrasaur might appeal to you.

Was in process of watching Brian's take on this knife when you popped up, great review from both of you. Might just have to get a couple!

If I didn't already have one of those hard to get Jääkäripuukkos I'd definitely be interested. Looks pretty good for an affordable knife. However, as crazy as it sounds to knife guys, I'm perfectly happy with the one I have and a backup/EDC folder. :-)

I like it, I have several condors and they’re great budget knives! I enjoy using as much as LTW N BHK knives. Love my Moras as well. Lots of sub 75 dollar knives that are awesome!

Welp Chris, I took your word again and ordered the knife late last night. Should have it in a week or less. I've purchase a couple of budget knifes on your recommendations and so far I've been happy. My favorite is the Kershaw Camp 10, very nice budget chopper. I call it Vanessa. Yes, I name my favorite knives after my favorite lady bushcrafters. Maybe I'll call the Terrasaur Lilly or Brooke? LOL

I was interested in this one at first until they took so long to release it. The Real Steel Bushcraft in D2 that I've had for a awhile is only like $5 more expensive & way better blade steel + kydex sheath & micarta handles.

Need stainless steel version for those of us that live around salt water and get things exposed to it daily.

Mora Kansbol money wise probably competes though it's sanvik stainless and the grind but people on RU-vid compare it with the garburg which I don't understand they are totally different?... Is that Condor full tang or full up to the lanyard hole? Or less?

Why do you insist on putting the knife in the sheath the wrong way? ;) You have the carry system ready for left hand carry but the knife in for right hand carry so the thumb ramp is now on the index finger side. The knife fits ambidextrous I know. But a good review. I have the first production and later they made some improvements to the sheath and most of all the rivets. But for sure it's a good solid budget small camp knife.

Id like em better if they cost more..;)

I was lucky enough to get one in April from an amazon store (Canadian or European?) for @$49...no longer in stock. It's a sweet knife, great knife for the money! and mine is the OD green for real. lol. Not as robust as a garberg....more like a bushcraft black with a full tang!!!

The terrasaur model was first released as a custom model in D2 from Fiddleback Forge.

That looks like a perfect knife for me in my price range. I'd probably get one if I wasn't away doing construction. Hopefully there will still be plenty around in a month when I get home. Keep it up with the good videos. I especially like these budget friendly items.

Love it.. I really like 1095. I'm surprised the sheath is well made. KIZER just came out with the Sequoia. Contoured G10, 1095 steel and a kydex sheath. And it has a reasonable price tag.

Knife looks good but that knife sheath needs to go it covers 3/4 of the handle just like one of those Mora knife sheath. I want my whole hand on the grip so it can be drawn fast and easy. Who says a bush craft knife needs to be so difficult to draw?
