I came up with this new design sorta by accident but I think it works?? This footage was from 2/9 at Baker. Pretty fun day catching crabs but didn't end up bringing any home for the dinner table!
You were crushing it, just too bad they were all short. It’s getting late in the snaring season now that the commercial boats sucked up all the big males.
@@gc_in_dc we stopped 5 pots in HMB a couple weeks ago and got zero keeper Dungeness compared to 18 really big rock crabs. Dungeness were there but all small or females. Can’t wait for next season already. For now I buy crab at the local markets. 🤣
