Or was this an advertising stunt? In a sane world the extinguisher (s) would have been immediately to hand- the Fire Brigade would have insisted even if they had allowed the "Trick" in the first place. Now I suppose (Being 'unhurt') he will have doubled his audience who want to see him do it again.
@@malcolmhouston7932 yes, it was a PR stunt and the fact so many people fell for it is worrying but I shouldn’t be surprised though, if I have learnt one thing in the last few years, it’s that a lot of people will buy any old sh!t and the ability to think for oneself is shockingly rare
I would have thought that there would have been a signal arrangement between him and the crew if he was in trouble, I'm not saying this was set up but who knows.
That looks so staged to me, the guy walking on trying to clear the stage, no one taking their clothes off to cover the flames, all running in fear. Well staged
The way the whole thing looks, just doesn’t look legit at all. As the person above said, most folk you see that need help are scrambling about in pain too. It’s the other people’s reactions that really make it look suspect
Was he shouting "Put me out/get me out?" Why does it take someone shouting over the PA "Cut" before someone moves in and why are they that distance from him and not behind a piece of scenary? I'm at a loss for words over how bad the whole setup is. I guess the Darwin Award goes to American H&S setup, our rules maybe ott on time however this, this is just dangerous. If this is actually just for publicity, then you have to question the World we live in.
Thought person on PA said "Stop" not "Cut", they not making a movie. And don't think it was over P.A. system, someone just shouted "Stop" in an almost empty theatre which is designed to provide great acoustics.
@@alisonjmiller5339 Yeah I'll agree, on listening back it is "stop" and it could be the acoustics, either way it was wrong though it's still bad. Where were the safety team?
@@jo_clarke1960 True, should have been more precautions taken in case of disaster as it seems Criss has record of things going wrong, a lot more care should have been taken to have safety team there to immediately react at first sign of trouble. Even without a bad safety record better precautions should have been taken, you're right nobody should be taking such chances where fire, etc, is concerned no matter how good they think they are, it's just asking for trouble not to have safety team/fire Marshall/chief in place in case of accidents.
i just couldn't take my eyes of your beautiful sweet dog. He/she looks human with those lovely big thoughtful eyes. Your blessed to have such an amazingly lovely dog.
Gotta be said. Like many others I can't afford your new platform. £52 per year. Even if you retained only 100,000 subscribers that is 5.2 million pound Surely at £10 a year.... and to retain 200,000 subscribers would be a more pertinent model for those who cannot afford the subscription (still 2million per year) Don't get me wrong I love your content however its now beyond my reach which is saddening. Good luck Mr Belfield and keep the message strong.
The stage dancers did the right thing...run and get your mask first then come back and see if he's ok. Can't take the risk of catching the coof can we 😁
i would have thought the fire extinguishers would have been closer with someone stood by them. i bet they would if the star had been the one going to get on fire.
So laying down is the signal that his in trouble ......but you would have thought that some one would have been on standby with an extinguisher and not have to run and find one !!!! whoops .
Firstly how wrong did the stunt go in terms of severity? I didn’t hear anyone shouting to get someone to call for an ambulance. I think this was a contrived publicity stunt. Years ago there were no stringent health & safety policies as we have today and Effects supervisors worked closely with stuntmen, between them they managed the risks and on the whole quite successfully given the odd accident here and there. I wonder if the insurers of this performance artist are going to stop him from putting on his show?
even thru there are health & safety policies things can still go wrong. using fire in any show can be unpredictable. one of the rules when using fire in a show is you need a fire permit and theaters you perform as to be fire proof.{ this means theaters have to be shut down for two weeks so Construction workers come in to make it fire proof. if they refuse to do this you can still perform there but you can not use props that require fire.} criss angel theater was made fire proof way before is mindfreak stage show opened. just in case.
Can't help it - but after watching this I recalled the scene in Bugs Life where the leader of the circus, P.T. Flea has accidentally been set on fire (and put out), and someone from the applauding audience cries out "Burn him again!"
That's horrifying. Most importantly, it is unnecessary. It doesn't really take much to entertain people, as you know Alex, lol. For what reason are people setting fire 🔥 to themselves? Don't ask me, I don't find any of that entertaining....I'll just keep watching you, Alex ❤🔥 You're enough fire for me VOC ❤🔥
