David doesn't respect blatant fact acts used by TV when David is more of an entertainer and hardcore stuntman. I don't respect Chris' magic either because I know which is fake. David expects you to know his are fake but skilled. Chris is VERY skilled too but not on davids level.
Well he sounds like he’s struggling to talk. His voice sounds bad. And that’s why I can’t watch it anytime, just happened to see this short and clicked on it. I struggle to listen to him.

Idk in the 2000s all that grunge jewelry shit was super in so i’m sure it was just supposed to be a nice gesture also we would never know the price unless he said it so I don’t think it’s that deep he was just telling a story
David Blaine seems like the kinda guy who doesn't have and doesn't want too many friends. I don't mean that in a bad way either. I'm kind of a loner myself and if someone came up to me talking about building a friendship i'd be kinda skeeved out. Glad your son is doin ok!
Yeah, Criss comes across as petty in this clip. If someone who I didn’t know tried to gift me with something wildly expensive, I’d be the one looking at them sideways, like “what does this person want from me? Why are they so aggressively trying to befriend me?”

The beef between the two is that Blaine had his first TV special and that blew up, but TV executives decided to give Criss his own show instead and he became quite famous, on the other side Blaine wanted to be different so he started doing body endurance stunts instead
Interesting. Blaine's special was amazing AF. I always thought he was a better magician than Criss Angel tbh. I feel like Cris Angel's tricks are all about the TV camera filming a certain way, but David Blaine's shit is so simple, but it blows your mind.

Being a childhood cancer survivor myself I have so much respect for Criss and how much he supports childhood cancer warriors. I've been in remission from synovial sarcoma since 1997 and there hasn't been any new treatments specifically for kids. Just like myself, they're little bodies are given the strongest adult treatments and it takes a huge toll on your body. Even if the cancer is gone your body is damaged for life and I'm so thankful that this dude is bringing awareness. NEGU little warriors🎗💛💛CHRIST be with you!
Respect to you!! I beat Leukemia in 2021 after stem cell transplant and numerous treatments. I always thought about kids going through it and how tough they are because it was tough for me. You and kids are tough that have to deal with it or have. I’m thankful for the relationship with Jesus that I had that got stronger after my trial. God Bless!
I wonder if people genuinely like Criss Angel or think he's a joke? Everyone at school used to clown his Mindfreak show. Doesn't help that he comes off as a pretentious douche bag and dresses like Bret Michaels.
Having a close relative with cancer or any disease is extremely humbling. My brother who just passed at 53 had hydrocephalus/spina bifida which eventually led to kidney disease. I can't say I know how Criss feels but for myself it's like your mind is always walking on fragile ice that could easily break. And It will swallow you up if you let it. I try now to stay away from that fragile part of the frozen lake and go to the side where there are good memories, ice skating, fun and laughter.
This vid just made my day… life really is short and it’s gone in the blink of an eye. Lost my dad 2 years ago to a rare brain cancer, came out of the middle of nowhere.

Glad Chris’ son is doing better, i had cancer in my early 30s myself, did a year or chemotherapy and radiation. I was fortunate, im sure his son is gonna grow up and do amazing things much ❤
David Blaine and Criss Angel were my childhood and so was learning/performing street magic so I remember exactly what went down: When Criss Angel’s Mindfreak blew up, everyone was hooked (including me). If was fresh, cool and magic we’ve never seen on the streets. Ppl started jumping bandwagon from Blaine camp to Angel’s. However the moment I started to lose respect was when Angel would randomly attack Blaine in radio interviews, make fun of him, etc. Hence the “aggressiveness” that Angel so lightly put. He even dressed up as Blaine in an episode of Mindfreak and it was offensive imo. Mindfreak then became more about what motorcycles Angel owned and his mansions, etc and it was less about good magic so I stopped watching. The staged tricks were ridiculous and horrible. I don’t blame Blaine for not wanting a picture with him, at least he didn’t talk shit in return. Blaine’s always been the class act in all of this. P.S. Btw, Blaine invented street magic for television and inspired ppl like Criss Angel, Derren Brown, Cyril Takayama, Dynamo, etc….so who stole from who again?

I remember when I got my first iPod, my cousins brother in law would download music for me. And he downloaded clips of different Criss Angel illusions. I was able to meet Criss a few months ago at Anthony Pettis MMA card in Milwaukee. Criss was part of the group photos they did with other names. They rushed everyone through so it was like a second and then on to the next. I shook his hand and got into position for the photo. And then I gave him a awkward wave goodbye. But it was cool. Such a fun night and it was awesome to meet Yair Rodriguez there too. Anthony and Sergio Pettis are so chill and humble. They took time to photos with fans and really cool.

I would imagine doctors tell parents of children who have cancer to specifically do that. What are the two places you always hear of lumps over and over. Woman’s breast and men’s testicles. If he hadn’t have found it his son very well might have died it’s not like young boys are chomping at the bit to have doctors check out their privates. The kid probably wouldn’t have said anything until it got bad
