How can anyone not like this man? I got news for you- If you don't like Alex then you gotta look into a mirror because the problem is with you. I would buy a vehicle from Alex any day of the week, you can just tell that he would never leave you high and dry after the purchase.

Andrew, I love your videos but the way these haulers are presented is in my opinion misleading. The GVWR of this truck is 19,500 pounds, in other videos he has talked about 14,000 pound curb weights. Unless this truck is a lot lighter, that means you have 5,500 pounds of cargo capacity. Take 500 pounds minimum away for people and cargo (and it could be 1,000 pounds with all the storage space), best case you have 5,000 pounds of usable cargo capacity. For fifth wheels roughly 20% of the weight ends up on the tow vehicle, that means the heaviest fifth wheel you can tow with this truck without overloading it is around 20,000 pounds, not the 32,000 pounds plus he talks about. At 32,000 pounds you would likely have 6,400 pounds on the truck and exceed the GVWR.

I just don't understand why so many of these or so derated. It took me forever to find one rated at 25,500 GVWR. At 19500 GVWR on a truck that can weigh almost 15k with fuel you have less than 5k payload. That makes it no better than a f450, but the f450 will be faster up the hill and get better fuel mileage. Now the frightliner is much nicer to drive. The person using this to tow needs a class A license anyway. So why not let them use the whole truck and not derate.
