The New Dadri Junction has opened as the last station connecting the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC) with the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor (EDFC). Spanning 1,504 km from JNPT to Dadri, the WDFC features double-line electric track and detours at several key locations. It traverses five states: Uttar Pradesh (19 km), Haryana (177 km), Rajasthan (567 km), Gujarat (565 km), and Maharashtra (178 km), with a new alignment from Rewari to Dadri.
