It’s insane how much they’ve invested in an IP that most aren’t familiar with anymore. And that they seem to be pulling off all these different game modes. Campaign, extraction, BF-style multiplayer and more. It also looks pretty smooth to play and in a good technical state coming up to launch. I’m really impressed and will be trying this out.
@@Vanadium They aren’t comparing the new with the old, they’re just saying it’s crazy how clean this looks and how it’s obvious that there’s a lot of sweat behind this for an overall unknown IP. This isn’t a AAA competitor on the level of CoD and BF, but somehow it looks like this game will be better then both of them combined. It’s just impressive
Its the result of a well funded game studio. Unfortunately the big names are so infactuated with social justice wars that they can't get thier head out of thier own ass long enough to read the room.
Cod does that on the regular. They find something really cool in one game, and then rather than expand on it and improve it, they just move on and leave it behind in the next game/s. Only real exception are things like the weapon building and the zombies. (obviously Warzone, too, but that was built on following a trend, so it makes more sense to stick around)
This is generally looking great, F2P and on consoles? The Extraction Shooter market for console is legit non existent, this game is legit going to be actually insanely popular on release, regardless if they have operators i think that will spice up the combat and interactions ALOT and thats actually amazing to see in an Extraction Shooter, very unique so far. 3 Gamemodes? Campaign, Multiplayer like BF, Extraction Shooter Game Mode with Bosses and Gear and Weapon Modding like Tarkov???? Sign me up man holy this game looking like a breath of fresh air. Hyped is an understatement bro.
I do like the concept of dynamic and scripted events in missions: you hack something, protect it from waves of enemies, than it enables you to go to some other POI and clear it and so on. This kind of missions is missing from other extraction games where your missions boil down to "fetch me that" "go mark this" "kill X bots"
@@owenkelsey6279it’s needed because apart from america the rest of the world have low end pcs and that’s what gaming companies refuse to realise, that’s the only reason the finals doesn’t have a bigger player base
@@winchesterkid Does The Finals run badly on PC ? I would have thought it was quite well optimized, as it runs at 60 FPS with ray-traced global illumination on consoles.
the gun models look absolutely amazing. i really hope this game does well. i still am about hesitant about operators instead of just doing classes or just picking your own loadouts nut it still looks fun
@@-Emre- Hunt showdown scratches a different kind of itch despite being an extraction shooter. Its the fact that you're all competing for the same single goal that makes it feel like a completely different game type, you know what I mean? I like that in Vigor, or this game, technically you don't HAVE to fight other players to succeed, as long as you can find loot and get out... somehow makes killing players feel even more rewarding.
This game seems to be the only competitor (potentially) to COD. I hope it does well, Delta Force Land Warrior is the game that got me started playing FPS games on PC.
@@utkarshmahna370 I do agree you wont pull a lot of COD players but I say its a COD competitor b/c it has different popular game modes and it looks more like COD. If this game does well, it may be the END of Battlefield unless Dice is able to get their heads out of their asses (management specifically).
0:57 they may not be the original devs, but the fact that they’re paying homage to the older games is a good sign. I remember those crocs scaring the crap out of me as a kid!
Looks extremely polished, UI is clean, gameplay/inventory is not too complicated but not brain dead simple either. I dig it, will definitely check it out.
Honestly it looks to much like bf2042 and that’s not a good thing they should’ve just kept it more tactical and that alone would’ve changed the entire feel but no they want brain rot kids
The animation style most likely. While battlefield has never really had the absolute best reloads or weapon animations, this takes notes from cod and tries to give weapons that freeform sway. That’s probably what you’re seeing
I'm so old I played the first Delta Force on my Gateway computer with a 56k modem. I enjoyed the whole Delta Force game series on PC then Blackhawk Down on Xbox. I also played Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six series on PC back in the day. That series was great too!

@@tturi2I don't find arena to feel like a game from 2005, feels pretty modern to me. There are different genres of games and it feels more like a hard-core sim than a cod or bf title.
Damn delta force is a big nostalgia hit for me. Used to have family Lans playing Delta force black hawk down. Defending the bunker on Cracked, riding around with the helicopter or just camping on the rooftops. Good times.
I was really skeptical about this game, but seeing all of the gameplay recently, especially across all of the different modes, I'm excited for this. Awesome video, looks like a lot of fun!
First game I ever played was Delta Force Task Force Dagger, I was only 7 years old so it brings me joy to see Delta Force make such a comeback so many years later and getting the love it deserves. I’m so excited by how this looks, can’t wait for it to release.
Already liking the slower paced movement. A good mix of tactical and arcade movement. I know people couldn’t stand MW2 and the DMZ mode back then but I was in love with it. This looks absolutely on point with DMZ. More so better because the AI isn’t cracked out of its mind. Not to mention the environment looks really good with vantage points and valleys for some crazy tactical shootouts. I’m intrigued for sure.
This looks really promising. It seemed to me to have come out of nowhere, until I then realized they showed early teasers and trailers for it last summer... I fell kinda lucky to have missed it then, as I would have had to actively been anticipating it for a year more, had I noticed it then :D haha
I kept seeing this game appear on my list and kept ignoring it thinking it was a cheap Chinese knock off but damn does everything I've seen so far look amazing
oh man, I am excited for this, been a delta force player since the first one, of course, black hawk down and team sabre were played to heck...who remembers popping heads with the m21 sniper rifle!
They're really dropping the ball on the extraction part. DMZ extraction is the best part, jumping on the chopper while getting to fights jumping off to fight some more.
