Delta Force Hawk Ops gameplay has released new footage of the Battlefield style mode and a Tarkov style extraction mode. Let's take a look! Leave a LIKE and a comment, thanks for watching.
Battlefield 3 will always go down as one of the most awesome and bad ass games for me. The atmosphere in that game was crazy!! When you get shot at or explosions around your soldier, you will scream some reaction like you're really their lol, strike at karkand, Canals, Metro, Seine crossing the memories :,)
BF3 was the best, used to go into clan servers to show them who us the boss, my favorite weapon was the G3A3 and one semi automatic that gun was a beast
It looks cool, but I could easily see this becoming a game where you see guys running around with glowing pink guns and rainbow armor. If they stick to the gritty, militaristic style then I'll be more interested. We'll see what happens.
i dont care about cosmetics but one thing i absolutely hate is people treating any game like an esports, is one of the reasons i keep playing battlefield, is still the casual king
in some part of the video, im pretty sure there was chinese text in the ui, which literally just tells me what this is going to be right out of the gate
Didn't you watch this footage? Lol. Dudes wearing pink/red gloves and pants with red stripes on them. Purple skins on guns. Nothing delta force about that.
The voxel technology they used actually let you hide in foliage for concealment pretty accurately too. Used to play on TDM sniper-only servers in Land Warrior and you could hide in the foliage and not be seen before taking your shot.
@@tennessee3156 yeap specially for first few times when I was kid I just could not figured it out why I can not get through it then I saw white sticks and figured it out. And it was awesome day for me those days man I also remember my fps dropping down to 1 fps because of explosion obviously didn't knew what fps is back in the days 😊
Yeah this was my first ever MP experience, was about 10 so didn't have a clue what I was doing. Remember only using snipers, constantly dying and maybe got 1 kill a game if I was lucky 😅
Indeed, another game with wallhack kinda gadgets :( Same as in COD Warzone, BF2042 and PUBG Deston map too, either seeing people through walls or on mini map or via a heartbeat sensor gadget, all those things I really don't like at all.
How further we in time are more crap will be in game. When in time ps1 ps2 ps3 gaming was normal and good. I like all the call of duty on ps123. Ps4 ps5 have destroyed gaming with space crap and micro transactions and annoying update and buy this and that. Now we have all that space crap in games. Bo3 1 big example . For me is ps1 ps2 ps3 the best.
First 3D shooters I ever played were Rise Of The Triads and Quake. I remember games like Decent 1, 2 and 3. When Delta Force dropped I knew that I was looking at a very bright future for 3D shooters.
Wow this unlocked memories for me - 2003 I remember playing Delta Force: Black Hawk Down I didn’t even put these 2 together until I heard they’re the same publisher. Amazing to see
Same. Sadly it looks like the original heart of the game is dead. I probably won't even bother with this game. Unless this futuristic BS is only a side option. Would love it if they have the original missions.
I will destroy you endlessly w/ the riot shield in MP just watch on your first day playing I will haunt your lobbies and as you run out of spawn you will be greeted by a shield
I played the original Delta Force online a lot. It was an incredible game. I had tape on my monitor, in the center, with lines drawn on it for distances, so I could accurately and fast do like 1500m shots with the Barret. Delta Force was amazing. Now, made by another company, so long after the first games, I feel like it's just going to be another military shooter, but called Delta Force.
That game was amazing! Definitely slept on, my friends and I all loved it. Calling in the cruise missile was one of my favorite all time gaming moments 👌
YES! thats the first thing i thought of when i saw this. I LOVED the MoH games. shame that COD killed them - i actually preferred those games over COD back in the day,
@@amscarpiBO2 didn't have any of this movement in multiplayer tf The only thing remotely close is the AW jetpacks and people still don't like AW movement
Scuba gear, claymores, remote camera systems all, custom maps all back in the late 90's, pre dating TeamSpeak using roger wilco. Thanks for the nostalgia.
Yooooo Roger Wilco!!! Xfire!!! Ventrillo!! MSN Messenger!!! GameSpy!!! There was so much more omg. There was another application, "ASE" or All Seeing Eye and you could literally see every person's alias in every server. Was way ahead of its time. You could highlight every server of whatever game, then look at the list of every player in every server, put them in chronological order, find anyone and join the server they were in. I think a bigger company bought that application out. Don't remember who..
Played Delta Force Black Hawk Down so many hours when i was little in the 00s. Good memories on sniper only servers in multiplayer. EuroSnipers and SniperCustom
I remember being part of a clan and being in charge of the sniper training. I got volunteered to train because I learned to shoot while rolling; kind of like controlling recoil in CS2 but in a circle. 1k plus headshots was so fun ended up switching to MP5 main for headshots bc size of the bullet was a cannonball and prevented med chaining.
I remember when the reveal trailer for this dropped. They had me in the first half because in the beginning, it was giving off Medal of Honor 2010 vibes which got me excited, but then it switched to showing futuristic stuff and I was like, "Really? This is just a slightly less futuristic BF2042." Medal of Honor 2010 holds a special place in my heart being that it's the only AAA game with a multiplayer based on the global war on terror, AND it was developed by DICE when they were in their prime. I used to play the Rush mode on MoH 2010 so much back in the day. That game's Rush mode was so much fun. So when it looked like this game was going in a similar direction, a Battlefield style multiplayer set in the timeframe of 1990s-2000s, I was instantly liking it, until the reveal trailer changed to show that it was a BF2042 clone, then I lost interest. I'll definitely check it out seeing as it's going to be free, but I doubt I'll get as much enjoyment out of it as I initially expected.
@Unknown_Genius DICE was in their prime back then. Their previous game was Bad Company 2 and their next game was Battlefield 3. That was DICE in their prime. MOH 2010 multiplayer was basically just BF3 multiplayer on a smaller scale. I don't know if you ever played MOH 2010 multiplayer, but it looks like you're playing BF3 set in Afghanistan. Sure, the gamemodes were different, with Rush being pretty much the only Battlefield style mode to make it in, but it was still built on the same bones as BF3.
@@tktxlegend4540 Bad Company 2 was mainly good for the story and Battlebit Remastered is what a lot of older players expected BF3 to be from a gameplay perspective back then - but instead we got a more CoD styled BF which they've since pretty much copied with every release. So no, I'd not say that they had been in their prime back then. BF3 already was not that great in my opinion and MoH 2010 was an even bigger downgrade and definitely not what we expected from a reboot of the series. It's great that you had fun with it, that's the main point. But if that's their prime than they've never had a career to begin with.
@Unknown_Genius Are you aware that your opinions on Bad Company 2 and BF3 are in the minority? Because I'm aware that my opinion of MOH 2010 is in the minority, but Bad Company 2 and BF3 are regarded by most Battlefield fans as being the best games in the series. My personal favorite was 4, but that's because of the friends I played it with and the memories I made with them on it. 3 is a close 2nd for me. That being said, the general consensus is that Bad Company 2 and BF3 were the best games in the series. I'm assuming you're from the OG crowd that played back in the 1942/BF2 days and think that BF2 was DICE's prime, which is alright, to each their own. I just figured I'd let you know that Bad Company 2 and BF3 are widely regarded to be the 2 best games in the series.
@@tktxlegend4540 yes, mostly those that switched to BF with BF3 as their first game after playing CoD for years prior just to constantly spam that BF would be a mans game, constantly starting flame wars with everyone. A ton of the original fan base doesn't play the games anymore for a decade at this point or play the old games on alternate clients as it's the only way to still play them online since 2014 (and often has to migrate because you know... EA doesn't like it if you play the games you actually bought, they rather prefer it if you buy a limited license that they can revoke at any time since BF3). Obviously they peaked in players with BF3 and no one can deny that - but you got 3 different types of fan bases here: 1) Those that had been fans prior and don't like it (which is a huge chunk). 2) A few that just accepted it and still play it - which is quite a few as well, not as much as the first one but still. 3) Those that started with BF3, which is the majority of the older part of the fan base at this point - and yes, obviously most of those will tell you it's one of the best games - same as the majority of people that started to play CoD with MW2 back then will tell you it's a great game whereas most people that had been there at the beginning will speak mostly negatively about it.
Joint Operations was the greatest, 150 player maps you could have a good couple of hours fighting it out in a round with some real large scale war. I remember loading motorbikes in the back of a Chinook to go for a high altitude Mission Impossible drop with friends over opposing checkpoints and loving every moment of it.
I used to play so much DF: Black Hawk Down as a kid. That along with Red Orchestra, BF2 and Day of Defeat were some of my favorite military'esque FPS MP games
@@strider029 aw. But also oh well. I still have the retail cd and case for it but the cd key has long been stolen. That was a big problem with Delta force games at one point. I tried playing online a few times back in the day but eventually I got a message saying my cd key was in use already.
@@Handsx not only delta force games. I don't know anyone that got a Battlefield 2 key that isn't in most keygens. Probably one of the reasons why they started doing the activation differently which ultimately led to everyone having their own launcher and selling licenses instead of actual products as access is gone either way when they turn off the servers.
2 way offence and defence is like the bf1 Frontlines game mode. The frontline can move both ways and probably the winner is the team that has more sectors at the end of the match. That s what I think it will be like.
It's literally COD, BF and Insurgency combined Edit: everyone's getting mad at me for using the word, "literally." It's not my fault that's apart of my vocabulary of this generation that I unfortunately have to be in and that I'm using it wrong 😔 And another thing, these are all good games, it's not a bad thing.. Edit #2: I checked the definition, see, the sentence I used it in doesn't make total sense, although I did use the word right.
@@genericamerican.Was gonna say, some of these assets look like they're ripped straight from the new Modern Warfare games. Wich isn't a bad thing at all, the production quality of those games is excellent.
It will be lovely to have that desert map (where there's some kind of like ghost town in the middle) from Black Hawk Down that I play back then with my friends in PS2.. sniper only so fun
@@ChickentNug yeah, this game so far basically looks like copied homework, they picked good games to copy granted, but for an example when it was showing the desert eagle, not only was the reload an EXACT copy (I bet they ripped it straight from the cod game files) but even the walking animation and the shooting animation were ripped from cod. They are amazing animations, but you can’t sell something claiming it as your own when you ripped all you animations and assets from other games
I guess the devs didnt even touch the originals, this is so dumb man, it's just a cod/BF clone, not the milsim tatical shooter type game, yeah i'll pass
One thing I liked that felt kind of unique was the weapons with 2 scopes and how they sometimes tilted the gun and used the side scope for more CQB style instead of long range. That's a pretty cool feature
There's nothing unique about that... A lot of games have that - sure, if you play AAA only you miss out on a lot of nice features, but switching between different scopes as well as point shooting has gotten quite common in the past years
@@CaseyBrown-ti1lu ye, the known franchises are mainly cash grabs and have been so ever since they saw their huge success. e.g. BF3 was not what I expected from the newest main line Battlefield entry back then as it was trying too hard to copy CoD in most aspects to get more users. About the fact that the OG MW2 (activisions huge success) back then was never supposed to be released as well as CoD 4 was conclusive on it's own but Activision wanted the devs to make a sequel after seeing the success of it after the devs essentially had to fight to be allowed to make a modern shooter, with many leaving during or after it's development cycle. Both of them have been stuck chasing their own success since the late 2000's or early 2010's respectively (and by that I mean mainly making copies of the previous game with a bit of changing done to earn from being known - consoles as the main platform for many having a rather limited catalog of games only amplifies their success with it further).
Yeah, I was totally interested in this game for the first half of the video. Till I saw that electric bow and Jack describing what is just the Specialists from 2042.
Yeah not sure why they’re trying to copy bf2042 so hard, it’s one of the weakest if not weakest entries to the bf franchise. Even with little irrelevant things like their logo/text also being that teal greenish/blue 3:48 😂. The chopper gunner view 0:46 literally looks like they were watching gameplay footage from 2042 and immediately had to copy it. They even got Falks little medic gun 1:50
With how big companies choose profit over quality, everyone that tries to make similar/competing games should take notes on what to avoid, that’s how u get success.
I didn't know there was a new Delta Force game. I played the first 2 Delta Force games all the time on PC 20+ years ago and loved them. Those were the first shooter games I ever played.
@@lukasor9936 man the animations. I think half of them are strait out of cod one thats clearly copied is the Glock but tbh if the Game is fun than thats perfect
Seeing a new Delta Force game makes me feel old. I used my dads copy on a 500mhz overclocked CPU and 500gb of Ram computer. Even had a floppy disk drive 😁
Damn I remember playing Delta Force: Land Warrior when I was a kid. I didn't even know they had games before or after that, I just remember being a menace in Egypt with way too many guns and explosives in my rucksack
As a resident Florida man, I'm fairly certain that's an alligator, one that size is most certainly old enough to be aggressive toward humans, so a RELATIVELY realistic depiction as well lmao.
@jackfrags I recon if I was exercising my God given right to bear arms I could 1v1 a whole lot more than a gator. If I decide to get my hands dirty it would be foe the gator, give him a more even fight.
The original Delta Force games were made with voxel tech, because they used the engine they made for the heli sim Comanche. Performant but looks a bit blurry as it was made for buzzing by in a helicopter. Gave it a unique look. I remember having to lob bullets at pixel size people at range, really fun game.
I played Black Hawk Down as a child constantly. It was really fun. I can definitely see parts from the original in this footage. I have such fond memories of that game.
@@juanchopestudiosit's going to launch, have mixed feedback, have 3 videos at most done about it, one of which will probably be sponsored, then fade into obscurity. Such is the trend for most cash grab games recently.
Delta force is where the real OG's were. I'd run literally as far away as possible, and snipe people. Ahhhh, being 7 years old again on my dad's PC were the best times of my life and I didn't even know it.
The futuristic stuff kinda kills the vibe. Should have stuck to strictly 90's-00's aesthetic. That being said, Battlefield and COD desperately need some competition because they have become extremely lazy and greedy. I was interested in this game until I heard "free to play", the free to play model has ruined gaming. With free to play, you get less for more. Sure, cosmetics are optional, but eventually, we will have super heros and rappers running around lile COD, and the game will release the bare minimum content like Halo Infinite. I refuse to play 90% of free to play games.
Sorry Jack, but you have it backwards, Battlefield looked a lot like Joint Ops not the other way around. Novalogic was the frontier for FPS games back then, all others were just trying to keep up.
Breaking news: Tencent owns or at least is invested in most proper games at this point. China in general is probably getting a cut of each pack of painkillers or each light bulb, battery (whatever at this point honestly) you buy as well.
played df 1,2and 3 alot. loved physics of rounds. in df 3 there was wind as well. windy maps were very difficult to snipe long range. 2 and 3 had grass that concealed but also gave clues as to wind speed etc. loved this series
Some of the maps in Havoc are iconic remasterd DF: Black Hawk Down maps. The crocs are iconic to the Delta Force series as you would come across them all the time in Singleplayer and if you were not paying attention, they'd creep up on you and kill you; nice little touch.
I used to love playing Novalogic's Joint Ops: Typhoon Rising waaay before the BF series hooked me. That game was so much fun! best laugh was going on a knifing rampage and causing absolute carnage among the other team. 150 player maps back then was a glorious achievement :)
Delta Force II was the first multilayer shooter i ever played. Hundreds of players in lobbies. Unreal, the single player kicked a life long obsession for tactical shooters
First online game I played PVP on was the old Novalogic Delta Force and Delta Force Landwarrior (I can't remember which). On my dad's desktop computer in his office before he came home from work, I was probably 10-13 at the time. So much fun and opened an entire world of online gaming to me at the time. Shout out to "AGiantGorilla" the first funny screenname I ever saw online and I've remembered that person killing me in Delta Force ever since
Delta Force is imprinted in my DNA , lately I have been trying to get the old games working like Black Hawk and Task Force Dagger. Delta Force 2 was so amazing when you consider one of your optional load outs was a live video feed camera you could set on a tripod facing behind you so you could see people sneaking up on you when you were sniping. late 90's early 2000's pc gaming WAS IT!!! I had no Idea this was ever a franchise that was going to be brought back. Maybe we will see a Half Life 3 and a new Unreal Tournament one day.
played delta force 1 in the 90's it was the first multiplayer large scale mil sim, but battlefield 1942 won my heart especially desert combat mod . groundbreaker
Joint operations: Typhoon rising was my ARMA, and I think that's a better comparison that battlefield. I only discovered ARMA many years later from the dayz mod...
I remember finding the Delta Force: Land Warrior demo on a CD that came with a motherboard back in 2003 (I believe it was called ASUS Quadforce). Shortly after, I went to the shop and bought the full game along with the first trilogy.
I remember the first Delta Force game too, you needed an Intel Pentium processor with MMX technology to play it and my CPU was a Pentium 200MHz without MMX, so I had to wait until I upgraded to a CPU that had MMX to play the game.
Shooting the .50 and getting knocked back. Having to find range and use your scope correctly was amazing back in the day. Using RogerWilco to communicate.. Oh my lord, brings me back
The lack of knowledge is shown by one line about Joint Operations. It had massive 150 player scale. Had tons of skins (free) with unique voices. Unique weapons to each side. AAS was one of the best game mode.
Reminds me of World War 3... Man that game could've launched off if the devs didn't fumble as many times as they did. Maybe this one will do what WW3 couldn't
Delta Force 2, and then Black hawk down we’re the games that got me into online FPS… sheesh going back, over 20 years! I was gutted when Novalogic went bust. I hope this game revives the memories.
ngl they kinda seem to have a banger on their hands...... extraction shooter mode AND battlefield like conquest gamemode via "Havoc" ??? AAAAAND SINGLE PLAYER CAMPAIGN THAT WE HAVE BEEN ASKING FOR BF TO DO FOR YEARS NOW AGAIN?? brother sign me up this sounds sick personally i like abilities and such in games, i mean its fun, doesnt need to always been a EFT/OG BF level realism clone for it to be fun boys..... I think a lot of people will enjoy this.
delta force 2 capture the flag was addictive and one of my favorite game/modes i had ever played. I also wish someone would steal the way they did grass in that game somehow.
Delta Force is a game from 90s I remember spending Christmas and New Year's Eve playing it online on dial up network There's bound to be some RU-vid video it was at a time when PC games came in big boxes like cereal boxes it was an amazing game back then I am really looking forward to this
This new one looks nothing like the OG games but it can't hurt to have more competition. Joint Ops was awesome back in the day - 120 player servers with huge maps. bullet physics (kind of) teamwork (like using a binocs to spot for a mortar so it's more accurate/less spread), and more. It was the best thing since Battlefield 2 at the time! Delta Force used to be a middle ground between milsim and Battlefield level arcade/sim... that had changed a lot by Black Hawk Down and this one looks to keep going further that direction. Fingers crossed it doesn't suck!
I am a big fan of the Delta Force series, played almost all of them over the past years and can't wait to play another one with the new graphics revolution today
It was great to play the original Delta Force back in the day. It had both bullet physics and also terrain deformation because it used voxel technology to render the terrain. I remember the game as being glorious. This footage here though looks kinda soulless.
Technically impressive albeit arcady - we really need more realistic gameplay - don't pander to the kiddies. Oh and it needs an editor so we can make our own missions - and it needs to kick some BF butt. Not asking much. We were addicted to Novalogics Deltaforce - I think it used a voxel gfx engine - and amazing for its time - it also had a mission editor - I remember making coop missions we'd play on our lan. Those were the good old days when some game developers allowed players to make their own content and games were played for years - not constantly milked to satisfy their shareholders - yes EA/Dice I'm pointing at you. Deltaforce had huge maps thanks to the voxel engine - at times sniping was like - 'spot the pixel' - the draw distances were so large and max res so low. Then a few years later along came BF1942 which although it didn't have an editor - it was just graphically and mechanically superior - basically the next generation. Novalogic also made the great Commanche helicopter sim - and then Novalogic sadly just disappeared never to be heard of again.
Talk about reminiscing. Watching the gameplay reminds me of seeing the trailers for BF 3/4/Bad Company and being hyped. Future/special abilities in a modernish military game can work...if done right. Wait to see...
