NEW Details on Upcoming Story of Seasons, Rune Factory Project Dragon & Farmagia! 

I think open world would be a nightmare for Story of Seasons game, unless they at least give an option to slow down the game time like in Wylde Flowers.

The eye roll when i saw the glider 😭 if this is open world that is so disappointing to me. Story of seasons to ME at least was always about the small town of villigars who you grow closer to and get to know more about, while jugglign your farm life. Not exploring some barren boring open world 😭

I'm still hoping for Animal Parade remake, but it does make sense that they'll release a non remake mainline SoS game for their 20th anniversary in 2 more years. That being said, I'm still so excited for both new SoS and Rune Factory! Let's hope we get actual gameplay next time, maybe news about the multiplayer next year?

Not gonna lie, while I am very excited for the new Story of Seasons and Rune Factory Project Dragon, I wish we get more gameplay in the future, especially for the other games they gave sneak peeks to that weren't shown in this showcase. With that said, I'm glad it seems they're taking the time with these games, even if it's most likely due to the rumored Switch 2 console.

I always like watching these preview types of videos. It is the only way I know about what type of farming games are coming out.

I'm just happy there's an update from Marvelous! I wanted more info for SoS but I'm willing to wait. We have so many games to play for now. OVA Magica released a demo too

I don’t know how I feel about this to be honest, on one hand I am optimistic, but on the other hand, I feel like gimmicks like the glider going to do much. I just can’t wait until they make an island story of seasons where you visit different islands.

What they showed was nice, but it wasn't really enough to justify a showcase. Building hype too early leads to people getting frustrated with wait times. Almost no actual game play.

I hope they tweak the things that we had concerns about I don’t mind makers but I hope they tweak it into something like the windmills in grand bazaar and hopefully you can do that kind of thing where you can run a bazaar or even set up a stall like in a wonderful life, and swim like you could in SOS, just the small things will make this one probably their biggest one so far, open worlds are great cause everyone is doing them but only if they can FILL UP THE WORLD WITH THINGS THAT WILL KEEP YOU EXPLORING not just a few things here and there

So glad for everyone involved that they are helping the devs with Moonlight Peaks' localization. I've been so interested in that game for a long time, and I'm excited we've gotten a release year now!

SoS is the only franchise of their's I play, and as much as I love them, the graphics really have been lacking so I'm excited to see what they come up with in the next installment

Very excited for the new SoS, though a potential open world makes me nervous. I hope they nail it this time, there’s so much potential. I want this game to feel complete 🖤 I hadn’t heard about Marvelous! helping with Moonlight Peaks. Waiting until 2026 will be tough, but I cannot wait!

Hi Josh! I think today was a pretty good day for Marvelous and I can’t wait to see more of the tea get spilled! Also this might just be me but Farmagia reminds of me Rune Factory 1 to an extent. Like specifically the male only protagonist! Until then we just gotta see! 🌈

im pretty disappointed by what was shown of the upcoming story of seasons game... i'm so over the whole overly saturated, bright colors in environments thing. i wish we would go back to more realistic environmental colors for these games. i'm really hoping the animal and character models are just placeholders, especially with how the character models look like carbon copies of the ones from pioneers of olive town.

The new Rune Factory looks interesting, a real big change and upgrad from the previous. I hope it doesn't get too repetitive again.

so glad theyre sticking to the tradition with rune factory having canon protagonists to play as and not some random create your own self insert. also their protagonists is the reason why theyre so beloved, like Raguna and and Micah and im glad they understand that. the only thing missing now is for the protags to coexist with each other and are also dateable if you choose the other one. Now as for Kaguya or Subaru, ughh idk they both look so cool. ill have to do two playthroughs lol.

Their version of the gliders are so cute tho! I'll wait for more details and footages

I remember last showcase showd us 2 SoS games, one of them focused on multiplayer. I thought it would be another Palia, but from now we don't have more information, right?

For SoS I need a few things: Rotatable furniture and decoration. The option to change the color of a lot more stuff. More good hairstyles! Different kinds of clothing styles or the option to change the outfits colors as well. Did I mention rotatable objects? 👀 Definitely less makers or ar least a good place to put them, because they are spacious and take a lot of room and they don't look decorative at all. And make the process time shorter. No one has time to wat 23 hours for one damn seed. And I would love different ways to play, so that it's not as repetitive as it is now. I absolutely loved Pioneers of Olive Town and the style of it. It's my favorite! But... Can we have rotatable objects please? 😂 I need to customize my garden, my fields and my house a lot more. I want to place things on rugs and I want to change the color of as much as possible. And different furniture and decoration styles would be absolutely everything! Modern, asian, cottage core, handmade stuff, futuristic. Yes, I know it's a lot. But I need a lot. 🤣

I would go with Kaguya since I like the idea of fighting with Talismans.

I was hoping for a Rune Factory 2 switch or PC port. But Farmagia looks good too!

I think either we will get info quite soon, once Switch2 is announced or it's possible they will be using some specific Switch2 features and we won't hear more until the console actually launches. I'm skeptical on Farmagia and Project Dragon but will be interested in seeing reviews

I'm really looking forward to this year's release. An open-world Story of Seasons with a glider, weather effects, and hopefully fewer builders would be great. I'm also excited about the new RF spin-off with improved combat. I hope it includes farming and doesn't have card-based combat, as I'm not a fan of card games.

I'm so excited for the next story of seasons and project dragon next year! Tbh I had a feeling they wouldn't try releasing any games since Nintendo confirmed the next console within a year so I was excited to see the showcase even though there was no actual gameplay, both games looked good. Next year will be so many good new game releases on the new console so I'm preparing myself (and wallet) for it haha. Thanks for the stream, it was so much fun watching with everyone!

I am gonna be a wee bit upset if there's little or minimal farming in Rune factory 6. I feel it will just become another jrpg if it takes away or minimizes farming.

I just don’t know if it’s the direction I want. Seeing the character fly with like a leaf parachute, who even asked for this? I just want a simple farming game with deep and meaningful character interactions everything else is just a gimmick.

We need a Rune Factory Tides Of Destiny 2

I really wish we can get Story of seasons and story of seasons trio of towns from the 3DS ported into the switch. Those games were remarkable. especially trio of towns which was one of my all time favorite SOS game on the 3DS. in that one, the characters felt more lively and had lots of personality to them and you can connect well with them too. Lulukoko was my all time favorite town in that one. I feel like SOS has gone a bit downhill ever since the release of pioneers of olive town which in my opinion very boring and repetitive.

i've tried to get into rune factory, but for some reason, i could never stick with any of the games. super excited about project dragon, hoping they drop more gameplay footage soon! as for SoS, open world would only work if the timing wasn't so punishing. trying to explore an open world to forage and discover new biomes would be very difficult to balance with taking care of your farm, courting, befriending NPCs, and attending festivals. hoping they figure it out though!

Considering how amazing trio of towns was and then the absolute train wreck that olive town was, the series really took a turn for the worst. I'm very skeptical of this new one.

Rune Factory: Project Dragon is basically Rune Factory: Breath of the Wild lol but let's be honest, i'll still play it o3o I love Breath of the WIld and Rune Factory so it's fine.

Was a bit disappointed by the showcase. It kind of felt more like a 1.5 version of last year's. Not much new information here. I'm really not a fan of the style of farmagia. I'm also worried it's going to have too much of a focus on combat like the new rune factory spin-off seems to. Although it was only a small amount, I liked what we saw from the new story of seasons. I think a focus on exploration could be a fun twist for the series!

Hard to stay interested after Silent Hope...that game should not have been released without major updates, huge waste of time and very disappointing from Marvelous

SOS open world but with only 1-2 town 😂 i dont think it'll work well. I think their "openness" is just a free exploration of the uninhabited area like the area between town in "tales of two towns". In that game, you're pretty much free to explore the mountain and its pretty big for Harvest Moon game For Rune Factory Dragon, my sister said its like Genshin, and i cant disagree. The art direction and battle style feels like those anime mobile game. Its actually a shame because i prefer the slow, simple, and "farming style" fight of previous Rune Factory

Companies need to realize open world doesn't equal a good game People would be more than satisfied with a small but fleshed out world over an empty open world :( Nevertheless I am HYPED for whatever Marvelous is currently cooking
