Is the hit count/accuracy change just a straight buff in PvE? If you want to hit 100% accuracy anyway, and they buff the accuracy on skills, it would be easier to hit 100% at high end zones. Also with higher dmg %'s, skill cancels may be much stronger too.
Fantastic update and breakdown! I believe the healing effects in the game should all be percentage. Per hit just seems like it causes soo many issues. Potions, leech, buffs, restorations from allies.....wait is the tear resurrection percentage health when you get back up? can't remember. Not to mention, classes have such varying health pools. from Shai to kuno.
Does this mean that Frenzy Draught and other consumables that recover HP every hit, will become less useful and restore less HP, or will they also buff this?
Yes. Unless they buff them (which they might, they just didnt mention it here). Even if they dont, it wont affect most "heal on hit" abilities. Most of them (but not all, there are a few exceptions) only actually heal 1x Tick per enemy hit, not per hit per enemy (like elixirs does). Hopefully they have thought about all this though, but we will have to wait and see.
The way they're going about this lowering xHits increasing damage and then giving everyone free % Accuracy to 'compensate' just seems like straight up accuracy buff. If you're at 80% hitrate prior to this change and your hit is say 1000x10, and it becomes 2000x5 or whatever after - but then they give you +15% accuracy (example using their numbers) in compensation, now you're close to 100% accuracy and your damage is going to just be straight up higher.
Im keeping mine. Not planning on getting rolled by evasion builds for the next 6+ months while waiting to actually get debo rings :> Even then, id still want them for swaps. I have double debo earrings, and double dawn earrings too. But each to their own! Peoples situations are different.
@@MadFordigal Yeah we did some math on the stream today, its really great value while progressing to go for 5x tungrad instead of trying to rush 3x tet debo. Way cheaper, so you can spend more on actually getting weapon upgrades. Its nothing crazy, but its a really good alternative now
If PA remove most hits from the skills they really need to buff Grim Reaper's Elixir / Elixir of Draining / Frenzy Draught, otherwise those elixirs will be garbage tier
It is, for tungrad. But you can also get the 12ap with 3x Debos, and they have significantly higher AP. However, it might be a VERY viable alternative in gearing, to go 5x PEN Tungrad instead of 3x TET Debo. But once PEN Debo is in place, Tungrad cant keep up in terms of dmg. But we will see some exciting fun builds come out i feel!
