I love these new cases. Loved the video. I've not yet seen the big dewalt case yet so I'm glad you gave the part numbers. Craftsman makes the same cases and they all connect. The tstack and the versa stack both connect to the big case I've been told

I really like the DeWalt extension with the retention. It works great when you're needing a little extra length on your spaddle bits when drilling bolt holes through thick beams.

I got the right angled bit adapter impact driver/drilling kit. I love the right angle driver attachment and love the bits. But HATED the magnetic bit holder. I never figured out how to remove bits from the holder without a pliers. YT videos suggested removing the E clip that locks the bit in place. Problem solved except that tight fitting bits like Torx sometimes stuck in the screw.

i used to be all about those sliding magnetic sleeves until i watched a few of VGC videos about those little yellow or silver magnetic sleeve bits and now i prefer those over the sliding sleeves because every time i used the sliding sleeve id pull away without the screw bit, the yellow mag bit is locked in the driver and i dont have to worry about leaving my bit in the screw i just installed

I think the nice thing about the tough cases are that u can actually get the bits out without killing ur fingers or a screwdriver. I love Milwaukee bits but their cases suck I can't hardly ever get the bits out of the cases without a set of pliers or screwdriver to pop them up and out. And yeah it's really nice to be able to stack them together and they are modular.

It could be those bits are ment to be stacked with-in the t-stack/Versastack system. As fatmax, Craftsman & T-stack all interlock.

I love my max fit and max impact bits look forward to getting some of these max torq bits

Bosch had the best "bit holder removal" system of any other brand. Their RED inserts are SO easy to take in & out & move around the box to customize. You don't have to fight them with a screwdriver, like the Dewalt's. 👍

To get the bit holder out I left the bits in put them straight up then lightly pulled on them, up and out the yellow holder came.

Where, where, oh where did you get the large case? Can’t find anywhere - even the Dewalt sight doesn’t know anything about these! Please help me get my hands on this kit! BTW, the large kit goes on the TStak cases and VersaStak cases. Have the Craftsman large case CMAF1285LTC (same as the large black Dewalt review case). Love what you do! Thanks

I’ve invested in this new system as they rolled out last year. Love them! But your right about being all plastic, an the clips. I have had no issue with them in my tough system tool box opening up and falling out. One of my favorite things is how the 1 inch bits are angled up for easy removability. Awesome video @VCG smash that like button y’all!

I recently bought the DeWALT DWHT69233 and DWHT66567 n thought to see what people say about them n happened to find this channel. After watching some videos now I’m feeling like “man this guy knows his stuff about screwdriver bits or drill bits” making me wanna get extra bits just Incase I ever need to. Interesting videos.

They're definitely tough plastic, not cheap. Also, in case anyone was curious, they are compatible with the similar style craftsman cases they sell at Lowe's...

I still use the old generic Dewalt cases. I like the newer ones that you can remove the holder. I also had one that I could not get out as well. Since I just wanted to see if it was really removable, I did not push the issue. Great informative video. Dewalt used their head when they came out with the big driver kit sets. Good marketing. Some people will look at it and say, "I just go to have it" and will probably only use 1/4 of what's in there. I have to confess, I tend to be one of those guys. LOL It's just like an Xmas toy, got to have it. Barry

After watching this video, I really think the very cool gang deserves to see some Wiha and Wera bits. Wera’s modular organization is second to none. Also you don’t need to carry around as many back ups because the bit is of better quality. Just my two cents, but after I use my terminator bits all day from Wiha the Dewalt are just inferior.

The new silver magnetic tip sleeve only fits the black impact bit sets ,not the other carbide silver bits .👍but I have several sets of those black impact bit sets .I have a video on my RU-vid showing all the sets I have. 👍great video Nick .

The functionality of theses really nice cases make me put all my bits back. The impact drill bits in the 10.00 kit pays for itself over and over. Solid products.

That large would be nice. Some Amazon sellers are trying to sell mediums empty for around $25... I found an empty medium at Lowe’s on the rack behind the old clam shell divided ones; $6 lol. Wonder if they’ll replace them all at some point

Pretty cool showing us these cases, & after watching this vid; I can’t find any of my Milwaukee cases.....think there hiding, maybe afraid I might replace them😂 They got nothing to worry about, will still use em; along w/ all my other bits & cases from just about every brand. Hey, I don’t have a bit problem, I just have problems w/ “crappy” bits that don’t work for me😉. But sure do like the looks/function of those clear case lids👍🏻 8:20 Nothing worse being up on a ladder, etc....AND having your bit drop the fastener, that no bueno🙃 Cheers✌🏼

Diffenitly like the clear lids, one thing I don’t like is the latches they stick out so you can lock them together but they also get in the way. Especially if you want to put them in pockets in a tool bag

You can hold that sleeve while drilling or impacting for better control. Believe me, It works great.

Loox good for organising. Still have the old yellows. Would be nice if the back was yellow too, so much better visibility, infrared degradation resistance, they save miniscule amount on pigment since carbon black is so cheap. As far as the magnetic screw holder, I went with the Makita, mostly plastic too, but screw interface Loox to be brass, extends @32nd-16th past tip so you don't have plastic wearing when you seat the screw. DeWalt looked like it would have serious wear issues.

Norske’s magnetic bit holder extension is godly - norske’s little bit case (similar to Milwaukee’s shockwave) is pretty dope in general as well, but the magnetic bit extension is just awesome

The large bit set attaches to TSTAK. Then you can attach tough case sets to above said big set. It’s the key to being able to add Tough Case to TSTAK.

I loved your presentation of Dewalt's Tstack bits case. You convinced me to get it and I am very satisfied with it. There's one important detail you didn't mention, and that's the inside of the transparent lid. I discovered that we can place additional supports to add more drill bits. Check it out. Amazing!

The long bits are great for door handles or pumps on door where the mag accessory will not for anyway. Also people use them for more than carpentry. Auto mechanics or machinery mechanics I mean look at screw drivers most are 3 to 5 " in a standard set. They give you the long bits to help replace those if you can. I use them alot. But I had to install 50 door handles and pumps on screen doors long bit is nice! Better than by hand and a screwdriver

Looks like that metal sleeve would work for drywall as well.

Just buy a magnetizer/ demagnetizer. Work great with the longer shank bits.

Are the cases 'Glass reinforced plastic'??? If it is, then that is a good enough trade-off to metal clips. Lighter and tighter hey....lol I'm pretty sure all of Milwaukee's cases are glass reinforced...

I wish it were possible to buy these cases without any bits inside (just the holders) Especially the smaller cases since I have way to many loose driver bits that need a proper home. All in all though, these DeWalt/Craftsman cases really are nice. Also in regards to your comment on the type of plastic these cases are made of, the top clear part is made of ABS while the bottom colored part is made of PP (Polypropylene) so take that for what you will.

I loaded up on these kits over Christmas and my guys are burning through them like water. I think they are taking them home with them. I have my suspicions. lol, The Craftsman cases clip to the DeWalt cases too.

What up Nick! I super-smashed the like button in this one. Been waitin’ a long time to see that large Dewalt case. That large case is the secret decoder ring to linking the small and medium ToughCases with Tstak and Versastack. I tried a google search on Dewalt DWANGFT100. No dice. Can you please check if that model number is right? Also, have you and Vince got any info on when/where we can buy the large case? Also, I’m a big believer in the Maxfit line of bits. The yellow magnetic holder is fantastic. It would be real interesting to see a TTR between Maxfit and FlexTorq using the yellow and silver bullet. I also have a Milwaukee magnetized 12” extension and have seen the newer Dewalt magnetized 12” extensions. More fodder for an awesome TTR. You guys are the best! ✌️

I saw a case like that at Northern Tool a few days ago, but it wasn't Black and Yellow. They all clipped together and I thought it was cool, but it was flimsy plastic, and I thought it would break too easily.

What about tstak? does it lock to the tstak??
